I have some big goals this year. I want to switch careers, I'm pursuing web3 development. My wife is due Apr. 2. Why not throw significant weight loss in the mix? I am hoping for 30 pounds in the next 6 months. Obviously i have more to lose, but I've been at this shite for 12 years so why rush it now?

One thing I don't have to worry about too much is exercise, going to my CF class 4x a week is just programmed in my life at this point, I don't feel right when I don't make it.

I'd like to get a 3x bodyweight deadlift. I'm at about 2.75x right now with now specific deadlift work outside of normal training so I think it's pretty easily doable if I do a deadlift focuses cycle, I just have to do it.

Right around 150. Current deadlift max is 400. I'd like to get to 450+

Holidays and new relationship have me about 10 pounds over my ideal weight. Time to CUT!

My Plan:

- 1600 calories a day plus exercise calories (I eat what I burn)

- 30% carb / 35% protein / 35% fat

- Only complex carbs, good fats, and lean proteins
- no sugar
- alcohol only on weekends and only in small quantities

- Intermittent fasting - 8 hour window to eat between 12PM - 8PM

- Gym 6 days a week + morning jogs and yoga on rest day

How accurate do you think inbody is? Do they err on low or high readings?

I can only speak for me as I don't tend to have huge water weight swings but for me it was really close to the dexa scans I have had performed in the amout of lean tissue it reads.

I do mine after waking and pissing and before drinking or eating anything, even water.

Only time I have had a weird reading was when I did it at trail end of a 3 day fast with last 24 hours being dry....of course it was all fuxked up then to the point we didn't even save it.

All other times between 1-2% of dexa. There are different models though, one I go to is one of the highest priced models.

I’ll be coming from the other side.

BW 162 —> BW goal 175

Will post my macros in the coming days. Have a one week outage starting next week so the gains are postponed

The place I go just got a new machine. They said it was an upgrade from the previous one. That's why my previous stats weren't shown on my latest one I posted. I keep images of all of them anyway, in case something like this happened so I can keep track of my progress/setbacks.

It's close enough. Just use it to track progress relative to itself. DEXA is the gold standard, but even it's not 100% accurate for each person. They're tools to be used, not numbers to live and die by.

My bathroom scale is is ~2% off from my inBody (making me be even fatter lol), but it's still a useful tool to track more frequent weigh-ins and fluctuations.

Hahaha we just added two cooling towers too. I’ve been here for a little over two years, but I’m I/E so it isn’t too bad.
