Have you taken any break/maintenance periods? A good 8 or 12 week maintenance period makes things so much easier mentally when it's time to lose weight again
Yeah actually, I spent June and July at maintenance/surplus because it was vacation season. I definitely needed it and it really did help mentally and made vacation much more enjoyable

It's been a wild ride for sure

Vacation mode on [off]

Weight was 251.8 yesterday, 252.9 this morning

It'll come down. I'm not sweating it too much, I was ahead of schedule on my weight loss so this shouldn't set me back too much. I knew I had this vacation coming up and planned accordingly so that I could enjoy my vacation without sweating my diet. I had a lot of fun but now it's time to get back to work.

Check-in day. Up a bit, 250.5lb.

Bad week. I did a lot of little things that have added up to a stall. Ate out too much, drank a little too much during the LSU and Saints games last weekend, etc. I only have a few more weeks to go, so it's time to really buckle down and get to my goal.

Avatar dropped my macros.
2247 calories
217p

I tracked everything as best I could but obviously when drinking and eating out it's tough to truly be even close. And it shows up.

I have to admit at first I went back to my old mindset - "this doesn't make sense, I tracked everything!" "Must be my thyroid again I missed a couple of doses" and shite like that. After staring the numbers in the face for some time I realized that's just bullshite and I didn't do what I need to do. Being honest with yourself is hard sometimes.

Down 20 lbs since July 15th, and I’ve only had 2 or 3 migraines (I was having 3-4/month). Yay!

Great. I'm starting ch3 today. First 2 chapters are kinda fluff.. basically teaching you the mindset you should have while studying. At 3 they start the meat and potatoes of nutritional science. Should be interesting.

I think there may some validity to my thyroid assessment.. I did miss a couple of doses and was feeling like shite and felt bloated. I feel way better today. Woke up at 250 today instead of 252. We'll see.

Check-in day. Lost 0. Average 250.4.

This week I did not drink, ate out only twice albasha and izzos, which I do often and have a good grasp of the caloric content. Very consistent.. so I declined to change my macros. Give it another week.

Check-in day. 248.7, 1.7lb down.

I've decided to end this cut early (2 weeks). Dropping my calories and feeling so restricted has fricked with my brain. I've had insatiable hunger the last few weeks and now I find myself unable to control the urges to eat. I eat and don't log it, lying to myself, then later go back and log it and try to compensate later. This is a recurring cycle where I sneak calories in and forget about them. I've been down this road before too many times. On top of this, I obsess over my macros and calories. It breeds an unhealthy relationship with nutrition. Drives my wife crazy because it's all i worry about.

I'm ending the cycle now and just maintaining until 2020, where I'll start up fat loss again.

This means that I've lost 7.3 pounds in 10 weeks. I'm fine with that. I achieved a new milestone and all-time low weight.

How’s everyone doing?

I’m still going strong with keto. I’ve lost more 3 lbs in the past 4 weeks. 23 lbs total since July 15th. It’s slowing down as I get closer to my goal weight.

My brain is not catching up. I still feel like I have a ton to lose. At my height, it takes a significant swing in weight to be noticeable. Others are noticing, but I’m not there yet mentally.

I hope y’all are doing well

Had a bad weekend dietwise. Had family in from out of town and had my son's first bday party and had like 20 adults and 10-15 kids over for his party in our 1500 sq ft house. It was chaos and I hated it so I drank a lot

Back to it today. Didn't weigh at all this weekend.

Anybody still losing weight in here?

I’m down 25 lbs since 7/15. I added mild IF to keto (18:6), and it seems to be helping speed things up again. I’d like to eventually incorporate longer fasts for autophagy benefits. My primary reason for keto is to help migraines, so I’m not counting calories at this point. Just mentally tracking carbs. I don’t really have a weight loss goal. I’m finally close to a “normal” BMI, but I still have plenty of fat to lose.

It’s still amazing how easy it’s been this time. I haven’t “cheated” since I started, and don’t feel remotely deprived. Yay.
