The late Hawaii bowl made it a weird day. I had ~3/4 of a quart of cream with coffee. My morning was usual, then busted on some reports in the afternoon hammering coffee and cream through 8pm. Once gametime came I realized I never kept count, so who knows.

A bag of local cracklins later

cream/coffee 2840
cracklin 720

Calories ~3560 ... weird day.

Back home - off any way of eating and shoveling crap down my throat.

To mitigate I made a load of this basically zero carb chicken cordon bleu casserole. It is damn good and tasty even warming up in the microwave. I also had a heavy deadlift session this morning. The weight was pretty rough 5 days ago and I did the same today - notable improvement in strength giving me the confidence to move on up in weight.

Coming off a 3 day intense binge of wine, pie, cake, and cookies. Might end up with the shakes tomorrow

Over the holidays I crept back up to 268-269. 267 today. Feeling happy with myself, my in-laws cooked a prime rib yesterday. I knew it was coming so I planned for it and executed my macros to fit it in perfectly. Need more of that more consistently.

Lsu777,
Have you gotten your hands on Layne and Peter Baker's new book, Fat Loss Forever? It's amazing. They cite just about everything they claim with relevant, vetted studies. And if they don't have studies they say so and make it clear that it's an educated guess.
There's also a huge chapter about Keto writtem by Dom D'agostino. If you don't have it, do you want to add it to your collection? I'll send it to you

I started Monday... well a modified version. I've been doing steak and eggs for lunch and trying to get more fat in for dinner. Just steak and eggs was overloading me on protein.

Tryin to get back into the macro tracking groove. It's a bit tougher with a child than it was prior to but I'm managing.

I've modified my tracking spreadsheet with a script that automatically grabs my MFP data every morning at 8AM and fills in my carbs, fats, proteins, fiber, and sugar from the day before. The spreadsheet then calculates my calories, % of calories from protein, % of calories from fat, and % of calories from carbs. I enter my weight and bf% measurement from my scale daily and the spreadsheet will average those out and graph it. On another tab I have compliance tracking, which will update as the spreadsheet is filled from the script that picks up my MFP data.

Nerding out on the spreadsheet for sure, but it's pretty fantastic. I haven't actually verified that the auto-pull script works but the manual trigger works 100%.

If anyone is interested in it...

Hulk, you are still an inspiration.

Looking back all that long ago. I didn't realize I started posting in there until May. I've definitely put on "some" lean mass since then. Looking to put on some more this year.

Very impressive spreadsheet sir. I made a copy into my Google drive but it wouldn't let me modify any of the cells with my info

I needed that, thanks

You guys have seen both my struggles and successes.. Hard to believe it's been 7 years since I started losing weight. I'm still down 96 pounds from where I started, and in the end that is a victory all on its own. I've beaten the 95% regain statistic. That said, I still have much to go. I won't give up on the dream. It's too important to me, especially now that I have a kid and I want him to have a good example to grow up with.

Being 100lbs down is no small task, and keeping it off. I’d bet you’ve lost more fat than that and have had a recomp of muscle.

For sure. Last time I had my body composition measured professionally (they used the InBody system) I had a higher than average muscle mass. Can't remember the numbers and can't find the paper..

Sadly, when I'm hitting my goals properly I am in a deficit so I never have had huge gains. I'd love to be in a massing phase one day to put some real muscle on.
