Update.. I'm gonna go on a bit of a diatribe (no surprise there). Dear diary:

Tomorrow makes a week on AIP. I felt like shite most of this week, but I feel amazing today. It started yesterday afternoon, I had a bit of a 'click' moment. It was like all of a sudden the brain fog was gone. I started feeling.. blissful. This morning the lethargy is gone. I woke up and was just brimming with energy, like I had a big cup of coffee. I had so much energy that after breakfast I just had to get out and go for a run. I knew I wasn't feeling 100% and had some brain fog, but I had no idea...

I hope this continues. If it does, my whole life is going to change.

so, I have been reading through this thread and am confused about several things overall.

I am beginning a healthy eating plan, or did today. It is time to lay down the sugar, cokes, sweets, breads, etc.

I need to lose 70 pounds overall, which is going to be a haul and a lot of work.

I don't even know where to start, lol...

I wish there were a plan to follow online to the T, meaning recipes, meal plan, what to drink, what to avoid, and even some light exercise ideas to begin with.

Time to make a change.

Today I had stirfried veggies with beef tenderloin at lunch, had a grilled chicken sandwich with roasted veggies for dinner and a diet coke. Drunk lots of water and to get my sweet craving under a little control a small slice of watermelon.

Not sure what to expect typing this out, probably ridicule.. I guess I asked for it, lol.

Just try to stick to meats, veggies and fruit for now. start tracking everything in myfitnesspal and weighing everything.

As far as exercise look at the greyskull thread. Do the base program of squats, bench, press and dealift and start with just the bar.

IF you have questions ask. you wont be rediculed in here. kind of no bully zone.

I'm still trucking along on my AIP diet. Full steam into week 3. I still feel great most days. Had a really stressful weekend which seemed to really ramp my exhaustion back up, but feeling right again today. I will be weighing in tomorrow morning, just curious to see what the results will be.

ETA

263.2. That makes 3 pounds in 2 weeks. I'll take it!

The number on the scale has stayed the same, but my pants are getting looser, still. So, results!

I am starting back on strict keto tomorrow. Pretty much steak and eggs.

Will be 2250 Cal's on lift days/2000 on non.

60-65% fat
30-35% protien

Essentially big salad with cucumber, avaocado, grass fed cheese, slice or two of purple onions and olive or avaocado oil as dressing for lunch

Steak/eggs/bison/grass fed ground beef make up the rest except one to two scoops of Pepto pro peri-workout to get the my protein number.

Gonna update here daily. Starting weight is 208@ 21.5 body fat per scan.

Nice.

I made some grass-fed beef bone broth.. man, that shite is so much better than the stuff you get in the store. It's so rich and thick.. and when it's cold it's gelatenous. Highly recommend.

For bone broth?

put bones in slow cooker, fill with water until all bones are covered with water, let it go on low for 8-10 hours.

The bones I got had a lot of fat and meat attached so there was a LOT of fat in it. After cooking, I removed the bones and ran the broth through a sieve to get a lot of little pieces of bones and stuff. Then I put it in two containers, let it sit in the fridge overnight, and in the morning I took the hardened fat out. I left a little bit in for flavor.

I just salt it with each individual serving. You can add onions and junk if you want but it's really delicious as-is.

Nice. You'll smoke 2 weeks like nothing.

This is my last week of elimination phase of AIP and I'm thrilled. I promised myself I'd do it and I'm close to finishing that promise. I'm great at keeping my promises to other people. Not so much to myself.

Anyway, I'm going to add nightshades back first. I miss hot sauce so damn much . I think I will add a food group a week at a time, until I find something that makes me feel like crap. Then I'll have to break down whatever group into individual foods.

Regressed a lot in August. Getting a lot better now. Binges are down. Just go prescribed vyvanse today to keep binges away.

Lifts have been fine and i'm almost done reading the new leangains book.

Did you end up moving?

Sucks you keepo having the binges pretty much no matter the diet you are on. The vyvanse should help that.
