Any recommendations on personal trainers in BR? Any idea of cost?

Lots of personal training going on at Esporta. Not sure of the cost.

I agree with this.
What are your goals?
You could start here then move to an in-person session for hands on guidance.

Can you provide a link? Seems to be several “HFB”s associated with personal training on the web. TIA.

I would start with any Stronglifts if that’s still an app. Really any linear progression program. But find one with a good app for when you are in the gym.
If you have never lifted find the biggest trainer at your gym and tell him you want to learn to squat, bench, overhead press, barbell row, and deadlift.
There’s a Greyskull thread on here. But I don’t know if there’s an app. The idea is to start very light and get form right. Increase your weights every session and get a good strong base.
In my opinion you can skip cardio. My heart rate gets a lot more work lifting than traditional cardio.
