To clarify, they do have smith machines. So I can do barbell work. Just not exercises that need a free barbell.

Contemplating running “Pool Season” the final four weeks before my vacation. Anyone have experience with this program?

I finished pool season 1 last month, running pool season 2 now.

It's more of an aesthetic program than any of the other programs. You still have strength building in it but it has a lot of high rep work. I noticed a lot of growth in my chest and arms at the end of the month. So it completed the mission.

Yea pool season is layed out pretty awesome

If I had to pick one of the other 4 day programs for getting ready for summer it would

Stacked, Jacked and Turning Heads
Filling out the hoodie 1 & 2
Arm farm
Db strength

Pretty much in that order after the 2 pool season ones.

Is pool season a lot of supersets?

I see the sample on his website shows W1D4 as entirely supersets.

I believe those are his “Friday Pumps”.

The other days are similar to Silverback at least.

1. Squats
2. Bench
3. & 4. Superset
And then a “cardio” routine.

as was stated before, that is just big pump fridays.

other 3 days

Day 1 & 3 squat
Day 2 deadlift

then press or a row

then a superset of some form

then cardio is all shoulder/traps work everyday.

lots of arm work and lots of shoulder/traps work on the other days. big pump friday is exactly like it looks in the sample, 4 superset combos plus cardio which is again shoulders or traps.

Have you ran Dr. Jacked Remastered yet?

Just purchased it and looking to run it starting next week after wrapping up Elbow Meat this week. Elbow meat has been solid, looking forward to starting another ppsa program

I have not, I have it and really like the look of it. It's demanding. Be careful running those 5 day programs back to back, Aaron does not recommend it.

I got some knee soreness today after squatting heavy on big Squat Thursday. Going to take it easy over the weekend and hopefully be ok for squats on Monday. For some reason I'm having a few issues with form that I've never had before.

That sucks. Yea I was having instability in my right shoulder that was from the fall from long tossing with my son....I fixed that and suddenly on my left shoulder I'm hurting when doing bench with the kadaliic bar. Doesn't hurt on straight or if I have the kadi tur Ed opposite ways so handles go in. Sucks, hate when I'm having to rehab while still lifting.

Just finished W1D3 of Grasshopper, I'm a fan. Thanks for the thread lsu777.

I've been doing PPL for a few years and started to plateau / little frickarounditits, and this is what I needed to get more focused

He has a remastered version of hypertrophy out. Looks good.

Prices also went up $1-$2 for each program. Inflation is hitting workout programs now too!!
