Man, y’all depress me. My wife laughs but she really couldn’t give a shite what I buy with my money. She’s just jealous of the time I spend running if anything. We don’t share checking/credit card accounts (pay those off monthly, I’m a rewards freak). Share a savings and we will pull out of there as needed if it’s something for the household. That said, if I was pulling outta savings to buy running shite she may take issue with that. Haha

Had to rest a little longer than 1:00 on the last 2 to get my HR down and be ready for the rep. Just getting over a minor cold/allergies also so my chest was smoking. Another week with a good tempo, speed session and some easy work sprinkled in is a win for me. Long run on Sunday planned to round out the week.
Wish I could bottle up this weather, deezam.
Good luck tomorrow Burt! frickin’ sucks about the wind, man. Any change in forecast?

@ HB the expo for the half is a zoo. Beware! Rush has 50 percent off shoes in the queue. I never stood a chance.

Did 6 miles of trails this morning. 55 degrees and 100% humidity. Felt great.
Forgot to unpause my watch and missed about a half mile and 200 feet of climb.

Our NW AR guys killed their half under tough conditions. Looks like Burt went sub-1:22, surely hit his goal of making the podium for the race series
