W1D3: We picked a light dumbbell and did the cardio as one big set. Lactic acid buildup by the end was a killer, and heart rate redlined after 40 goblets. Gonna try and add 5 lbs every week to that.
I hadn’t ever sumo deadlifted before; had to focus on pushing the weight up through the floor with my feet more than normal, and had to focus on hip positioning on the eccentric more. It did feel light though (the smaller rom is noticeable too).
I’ve also been supersetting chinups/pull-ups with deadlifts to speed the workout up a bit. Still seems like 70 minutes is about as fast as I can go including warmups

W1D3 done
I think I severely underestimated this plan. I have been absolutely pouring sweat during these workouts. Every bit of my legs, groin, and arse are sore. Having a master bedroom upstairs makes sure to remind me how sore I am.
I went lighter today on the RFESS sets. I have shite balance so trying to focus on that before getting the weights up. I was really suprised at the difference between a normal and wide stance goblet squat. Those wide stance squats lit up my thighs like I've never gotten from a normal squat.
Not sure what the board thinks about Ryan Humiston, but I've watched some of his youtube videos and seem to enjoy them. On the rows, I tried one of his suggestions of turning my wrists to minimize the bicep engagement. That made a huge difference difficulty.

It’s definitely a solid plan. I’m getting about 100 more calories on my watch than I was with the Pool Seasons.

Has anyone ever done reverse walking lunges? I think I’m gonna be wobbly tomorrow.

I take the accuracy with a grain of salt, but Im averaging 300 more calories a day and my workouts are 15min longer for W1 of Peachy compared to W1 of PS2.

This reminds me of the level of conditioning Arm Farm has with everything being supersetted, but there aren’t that many supersets.

Kind of relaxing and tough at the same time after being used to so many supersets.

W1D4 done. 3x10 back squat got the old ticker working this morning. I’ll count that as cardio lol! Great tip above about hand position for rows. I also try to maintain my back angle throughout the set, in other words, go light enough so that you don’t end up more upright as you fatigue. I focus on my elbows being pulled up and back instead of moving my hands or the barbell up. I think that helps activate more back and less arms. Focus on the bar path in relation to your body - is the bar traveling to the hip pocket, belly button, or is it at the nipple line. Decided on regular DB walking lunges + stationary reverse lunges and didn’t regret it (also counting this as cardio). Started lifting at 4:58 and wrapped up at 6:09. It was hot in the garage this morning, welcome to the garage gym life in South Louisiana! Have a good weekend fellas!

Finished day 4 and came to say this. Today was a doozy. My legs were trembling during the reverse ones.

What has been the average rum time on these workouts, debating this and House of Rising buns.

About 70 minutes. I’m walking those suckers backwards even if I have to do body weight.

W1D4 done!
Wow that was a good one! Had to use my handle and running boards to pull myself into my truck. Every bit of today's plan was solid. I was very surprised with bench press, the weight looked low. However after doing them, I dont think I would've wanted more. The walking lunges were absolutely burning. By the time I got to the reverse walking lunges, I decided to just go with body weight. That was probably the best decision I have made so far with this plan. Even with just body weight I was awkwardly stumbling around.
Anyone else get in position for the reverse lunges and then had difficulty telling your body to actually take the first step? I was probably staring at the wall a minute or so before I could convince my foot to actually lift off the floor.
I was right at 1:30 start to finish.

Same. I was like 50% that's nothing, but I was so done after those rows and DB pulls

First time in a long time I can hardly walk leaving the gym. I ended up liking reverse walking lunges better than forward. I just had to take small steps.

I had planned to do some stair steppers after my workout this morning but those lunges lit me up!

We also did Bodyweight, but we did 4 sets of 5 each leg regular then 5 each leg backwards as a superset and then treated it like a relay where one of us was continuously going. Even still the reverse lunges aren’t easy; I assume I need to do some ankle mobility work to improve form on them?

W2D1 done - it’s on the higher volume side for sure. Took me right at 75 mins and that was going at a good clip and adding super/cluster sets to save time. I super-setted OHP and DB rows and cluster-setted curls, pushdowns and Cossack squats. I did PR my 3 RM weighted chin at BW+75, and that felt good. I think I’ll be able to pass that up in a couple weeks. Get ready for a good sweat baws!

W2D1 down
That was a long one. Not necessarily hard, just long. Took me right at 1:50. I probably could've cut rests down some to speed it up, but I try to stay at 2min between sets.
