Foot is nice and swollen, but I'm not in much pain. I was pretty worried about it last night.

Press day today might try to get a new one rep max on bench

Not sure if I pulled a muscle or what but my mid/upper back on my left side is killing me. Woke up in the middle of the night yelling in pain. Felt the pain when I was doing shoulder press yesterday, which is obviously how this happened. You guys have any remedies? Should I not workout a few days? This sucks.

What Sab said I think and maybe a couple days off in that specific muscle area if its still painful, should be able to work on other things. Don't think you need to take a few days off though.

I would rest and foam roll. Honestly with the description you are providing it almost sounds like a nerve issue. I have had both a pulled/strained muscle and a nerve issue in the back before. Unless in the middle of a game like college football players, you will always feel the muscle being pulled/strained. Pinched nerve, not so much.

If it persist, go see a chriro. I used to think they were quacks until one fixed the pinched nerve in my back after doctors has said it was either muscle relaxers/pain killers or surgery as the only options. Big believer in that, foam rolling and stretching now.

Really really diggin matt wenning's stuff. I've never been strayed wrongly by anyone who has left Westside. Those guys have something others don't and i believe it's the amount of experience and intensity they demand.

yep especially the ones that get tired of being fat and strong and just want to be healthy and strong. Wendler is a perfect example of this.

I think the biggest thing they get others dont, is that you just need to keep it simple as the key is consistency not some magical routine.

I'm not going to knock them for the fat period of time. It was quick and effective. But yea Dave, Jim, Matt, Mark all are great sources and we're all fat lol.

Did rowing instead of lifting yesterday. Got the gf to massage me and used the foam roller. Feel a hell of a lot better and was able to do the wod today with no issues

Strangely missing it. Thinking about running it straight again for 2 weeks before I move into my new place in July.

Off day for me. Whole body is sore from lifts this week. Can't wait to rest. Thinking about going get a massage somewhere.
