This is the worst part about living in Louisiana.
Put me near some mountains and I’d be hiking 15-20 miles per week

1. Intermittent fasting is the best. Noon to 8 pm.
2. Drink minimum of 10 glasses of water a day-measure it. You’ll feel full faster and longer.
3. Try small amounts of nuts for snacks or low calorie/low carb triple zero 100 calorie/15g protein Greek yogurt, a small 80 calorie string cheese, egg beaters are delicious and have no fat or cholesterol and 25 calories per serving. Choose whole grain over white bread. Add a salad without fattening dressings instead use a tablespoon of olive oil as it has healthy fats to a meal or add chicken to it.
4. Mix it up. People who obsess about carbs/only eating certain things tend to get tired of their diet eventually and gain weight back.
5. Take at least a multivitamin.
Best of luck to you and update us on your success!

About the same for me. 6k minimum daily steps, CrossFit 4x a week, and I'm about to start adding in a 10-minute burpee EMOM to get better at burpees.. I still calculate calories as lightly active.
Basically.. if you have a sedentary job, you are boned in activity level unless you're an endurance athlete.

1850 calories/day is way too low. Given your height and weight I'm going to say maintenance is probably around 2700.

Sticking close to 2,000 calories per day. I was too hungry at ~1,800. I'm getting nearly 800 calories from protein daily so that's good.
1. My gut is going away, and I'm starting to take on good shape in the chest and arms, but I've probably gained a lb or two. I'm not sure what accounts for this other than how much water I'm drinking. 100+ ounces/day.
2. Another thing I've noticed is how I can eat a ton of chicken breast at night and still feel hungry. A couple of days ago I tried to end the day with a kale salad and 8 oz of chicken. My stomach felt empty after supper so I ate some oatmeal rather than going to bed hungry.
Any experiences with any of this anyone?

Space your calories out better so you can eat more at night. Try swapping the chicken out for red meat at night or adding a shake with the chicken and salad for some extra calories at night and lighten up one of your earlier meals.

1) 8oz is not a ton of chicken breast. I eat 6-8oz of meat at each meal.
2) Like Mingo said, that's a tiny dinner
3) if you're really hungry at night try making casein pudding.
