I actually have both. I forgot the Vitamix and bought the Ninja while on a trip because I can't be without a blender. There's no comparison in the blend. I do like that the Ninja lid locks down. I always overfill and have to hold the lid on the vitamix or clean everything within an 8 foot radius.

I have a blendtec. Bought it five years ago for $400. Used it well over 600-700 times. It broke a few months ago (I'm probably at fault) and Blendtec sent me a brand new one with a new warranty no questions asked. I will end up paying $400 for a top of the line blender for 10+ years. Can't beat that. Ninjas are ok, but blendtec/vitamix are much better

Yeah, same here. The vitamix I have is 10 years no question asked.

vitamix and it's not even close, don't bother wasting money on a Ninja. the vitamix is worth every penny

I've had a vitamix for over 30yrs. It will puree a 2X4.
