I had been taking 180 mg/week for the past 2-3 months, my overall test went to 685, previous labs were at 672 with 160 mg/week
Just started on 200 mg/week this week hopefully this bumps my numbers just a bit more

quote:What unit of measurement is this? The labwork I got showed me at 97 pg/ml free test which is in the 18th percentile (low)(610 ng/dl total test normail). But you are saying 12 free test is normal? must be a different unit of measurement than mine
But my free test level was 12.0 (normal), so not sure what to make of it all.

Pg/mL vs ng/dl
Divide pg/mL by 10 to get ng/dl
So his 12 is actually 120 in your measurement.
My initial free T in 2023 was 6, today it runs around 25-30. I feel great most days.

Sorry for the late reply....haven't been in this thread in a while..
To answer your question, per my LabCorp blood work, the unit of free test is in pg/ml. Mine is 12.0 pg/ml, which is right in the middle of the reference range of 7.2-24.0 pg/ml.
Is this low or high?
Estradiol 12.0 (reference range is 8.0 - 35).
Progesterone 0.2 ng/ml (reference range is 0.0 - 0.5)
LH 7.0 (reference range 1.7- 8.6)
FSH 7.4 (reference range is 1.5-12.4)

I would do 150mg per week, split in 2 shots. 100 will prolly get you in the 400-500 range but not gonna notice a huge change in quality of life at that dose prolly. 150 prolly get you in that 750-800 range.
Just came across this and it confirms what I am seeing. Currently on 100mg per week and topping out around 470. Gonna start 150mg a week (2 shots) and see if I feel a difference.

I used the needles that came with the prescription - they are 31g 5/16". Length was perfect but I guess the gauge was too small because it took about 90 seconds for the vacuum to pull enough solution into the syringe. It also took a while for me to squeeze all the solution into my stomach and the shaky hand caused some pain.
So I definitely will need what is being recommended here (larger gauge to withdraw then changed out to smaller gauge for the injection). Can anyone link me to the exact product that I should be buying? I am such a novice when it comes to this stuff

cant link right now, go to gpz services and get these things
1) get 1 ml syringe with luerlock
2) get 20g 1" needle draw
3) get 30g 5/8" or 1" needle to inject
warm the oil in the vial but placing it in a small amount of very hot water, like take a coffee cup and put 1" water in it and heat in microwave. place vial in the water making sure it only goes up about 3/4 up the vial
let it get warm, takes 1-2 min
take alcohol swab and wipe the stopper, put the 20g needle on, suck in air, inject the same amount of air as you plan to remove from the vial. so if you plan to take a 1/2 ml of oil, inject 1/2 ml of air into the vial, then withdraw your oil.
change the needle, swab area of injection, inject
not hard. watch videos.

For those just starting or apprehensive about the injections, I cannot recommend enough to go the subcutaneous injection route. I have a very irrational fear of needles and I gave myself a subQ shot with zero issues. If I can do it anyone can
They sent me 30g 5/16” insulin needles. It took a few extra seconds to fill the syringe and inject because of how small the needle was but I personally did not mind it. Will try the lsu777 method of warming the vial in some water for a minute to see if that speeds it up at all next time

or.....go 3d chess....order 1ml syringes, 18-23g 1" draw needle, 30g 1/2" inject needle.....so much easier.

i know some were asking about BPC, i wanted to give my experience with it.
i used it for about 8 weeks back in aug/sept trying to get my knee back to not hurting....long story short...it didnt help. SO had an mri and figured out why...i had tumors in my knee. Had them removed oct 17th and am back and lifting hard even on squats with only a slight discomfort the day after due to pressure in the knee
BPC couldnt not have helped the issues I had. But i had promised to give my feedback on it.
I did notice my stomach was better and had less issues overall with it which is not surprising as its known to help that
i still think bpc with tb500 should be the go to for joint issues.
But it cant get rid of tumors...at least in the knee

Just got my results back:
Testosterone - 154
Free - 20.8
SHBG - 52.1
TSH - 1.756
I had a feeling. Also this is coming off in the 700s in 2021 and 300s in 2023.
The doc is prescribing TRT.. I’m not sure how much yet.

I’m in the same situation. Does subcutaneous need to be specified in the prescription? Is there a “standard” injection type? Also where are you getting yours and what are your dosages? How does Maximus Tribe work? My primary care doc is just prescribing me something. Would there be a benefit going with the Maximus Tribe instead?
