Question is in the title.

Starting doing StrongLifts a few days ago and the Internet is full of people saying to also do some ab exercises with the program while other people say that the main lifts should be all the ab exercise you need. What do y’all think?

Depends. If you are falling forward on your squats and deadlifts, yes.

Here’s a link for accessory workouts with stronglifts. I’ve been doing stronglifts off and on for a few years, and only really do accessory on Saturday.

Wont hurt to do hanging leg raises or ab rollouts or midline drills, but not needed for sure.

It's a medical physical therapy site I use.  (I was injured in tbe line if duty "ILOD".) I consider it one of my greatest treasures.
I hope that's where you went with the link.
I thought it might be helpful for OP in determining how to handle his / her abs' question.
It's a great core exercise to do sans being down on the mat doing abs.  As you can see, it hits 13 muscles.

P.S. Lobo Apple Sauce= not a bro, but a sissy :o)

Your core can never be too strong.

you should be pressurizing your abs to support the lower back when lifting. Stronger abs/core should make for more controlled and heavier lifts.

Get a power wheel. The 100 yard challenge is fun.

I use a belt when I do heavy squats and deads, so yes I work out my core regularly. I woukd suggest doing the same if you use a belt or lean forward on your lifts.
