What’s your go to recipes for preparing chicken breast and veggies?

I’ve been cutting up sprouts, red onion, and sweet potatoes. Add olive oil, minced garlic, and salt. Love it. I use the same 3 on my chicken breast as well and I’ll use a little hummus or primal kitchen dressings on the side. I typically eat that 25 out of 28 meals per week.

Looking to try some other seasonings/recipes to get a little variety. So whatcha got?

I usually just cook about 10lbs of 70/30 ground beef on Sundays and grill / cut up about 10 Ribeyes on Sunday as well. Might make a cheese dip depending on how I’m feeling.

I make 7 jars of overnight oats every weekend and typically eat them post workout. Its a blend of:

Old Fashioned oats
Whey Protein
Almond milk
Greek yogurt
Chia seeds

And then I add different ‘flavors’, like berries, bananas, peanut butter, vanilla, etc. to make them different

Since it is finally cooling off - smoking meats. Lots of it.

Other popular ideas - instant pot during the week if I'm busy. Worth the money.

For 3 years now I’ve considered getting the instapot when it goes on sale for Black Friday.

This time I finally do it.

I've been doing this the past few weeks for lunches and haven't gotten sick of it...yet.

3 lbs ground turkey (90/10 or 93/7), 2 onion, 3 bell pepper, green beans, 1 can tomato sauce. Cook everything and mix together in a big dutch oven pot. Add tony's and worchestire sauce...lots of worchestire sauce. Simmer on low for 45 min-1 hour. I usually eat with some almonds or pretzels depending on how many calories I'm shooting for in the day, also gives it a nice crunch.

Makes about 4 big lunches. Rough Macros per serving.

68 grams Protein
24 grams Fat
28 grams Carbs

More of a steak and rice preparer here.

I alternate between blackened steak in a skillet and carne asada in a slow cooker.

The rice, in an instant pot with some beef broth and drizzle lime and cilantro on after.

I have burritos twice a day.

I try to make 2-3 proteins and 2-3 vegetables and 1 carb.
i'll brine 4-5 servings of chicken breast in pickle juice and other seasoning and grill it or cook lean ground turkey or beef, or use it to make a big chili with beans as the carb and eat on that all week.

i will mix and match and stir fry whatever veggies I make with a protein and a carb for a quick lunch

instapot

I have used one I find that a traditional pressure cooker works better and faster.

So you spend about $1k per month on just your food, no thanks.

I keep things simple. I eat a lot of pan seared petite sirloins and shrimp. I’ll season things differently on occasion. I eat mushrooms, sweet potatoes and asparagus by the pack.

I’m on a clean fiber/healthy fats diet to accompany my high protein content and I do intermittent fasting(eat noon-8pm, fast for 16 hours).
My first meal to break fast is a super green salad(spinach, Dino kale, Chard, green beans, cucumbers, beats, broccoli sprouts, avocado, and chicken breasts with a lite vinaigrette dressing). Later in the afternoon I snack on a small little pack of nuts and raisins and eat a honey crisp apple. I usually have a lean veggies and meat(chicken, salmon, sometimes 96/4 ground meat) dinner, and have a sweet potato with cinnamon and a teaspoon of coconut oil before I go to bed. I feel good all day, it keeps me regular, and my endurance (I compete in longer triathlons) is great from the fasting.
