Didn’t know there was one. What weight class are you lifting in? What are your numbers looking like?

105. Probably around 1500 if my elbow and bicep don't hurt.

I’m assuming you meant 205?

And God Damn, that’s some Arnold’s qualifying numbers right there. You must have been on some gorilla piss

My Stepbrother is lifting at the meet at Woodlawn this weekend. He's been pulling some good numbers. He powerlifted for LA tech in College.

Just did a light mock meet and practiced warm ups. Shoulder did well and elbow didn't hurt. I'm worried my tendinitis will come back Saturday as I've been battling it for 2 months now.

Going to do a regimen of Advil, ice, and mobility till Saturday.

Worried about that notorious IPF squat depth.

Got 3rd with 1421lbs

Too light in my squat attempts because fear of depth. Got 515 pretty easy. Probably could have gotten 535-540.

Bench was terrible. Worried about my elbow made me go too light. Started at 315 and started too early. Red lights. Second attempt 355 but racked too early. Red lights. Did 355 again and smoked it so I didn't bomb out. Could have easily gotten 380+.

So 8 hours into the meet, we started deadlift. Again, too light at 500. Messes with my attempts later. 551 second. 596 for 3rd, got out in front and didn't get it past knees. Easy off the floor.

Great day. You got a total! 1421 is impressive. It does sound like you left some out there but you can get that all and more next time. How was the atmosphere? How many lifters, spectators, ages etc. I’m 38 and never done one but kicking around the idea.

Big big meet. Probably 50 people. Day was super long. I imagine they aren't normally 10 hrs.

All walks of life was there. Old lady doing the bar to squat, young lifters, equipped lifters (totaling lower than the 105 raw lifters), family members were the primary audience. I had fun but I was exhausted by the end of it. I'm surprised I could even deadlift.

Everyone was super cool. In my class, we warmed up together and cheered each other. Good dudes.

Th majority of meets that I spectated, competed, coached, and worked were typically 8 hours minimum

Nice total. Once you learn how to train in gear you’re gonna have a huge total

Was it at Woodlawn? I watched all of the squats. My buddy Ian V. competed.

If you are the mustachio'd badass, then I salute you. That guy's mustache probably could squat 500 lbs by itself.
