I’m guessing no at the State level, but you would be in the 93kg class at 195. 1100 is respectable and may even win you first if you lift raw vs equipped; I’d be about the same.

I’m in the 198 traditional raw class. I did right under 1200 in my last meet and won the class easily in Open and Submaster. I even put up the worst bench I’ve ever done

So yeah, I’d say 1100-1150 would prob get ya a W.

Don't think like that
Shoot for 9/9 and if you get pr's awesome, if not then no biggy. Heck even 6/9 is a good day. But if you don't do as well as you want. Then take that time to watch technique discuss methods equipment etc

I haven't done a meet since I bombed out on the bench press at collegiate nationals back in 2002

Wow, it’s been a while. I stopped after a meet in December 2016. I put up the best numbers I’ve ever done and won best lifter, so I “retired” after. Now, my best friend is recovering from his second double lung transplant and wants to do this meet. Told him I’d do it with him if he wanted to go for it.

My guess is that I’ll be around 1100 in the 93kg class based on my lifts today.

If I concentrated on the meet, 1150+.

I'll be in the 105 and don't want anything less than 1500.

Let me get your email. The guy I work out with has his pro card and does USAPL meets all over the south and into Texas.

I think he does meets for some other leagues too. I’m about to start doing them and attempt to get my pro card this year.

Raw #s are: 365 BP, 425 Squat, 455 DL (back issues from the military and I’m a pussy)

I should total about 1200-1250 at 178 Ibs.

I actually will be in the 205.00lbs/93.00kgs class. I misread the way it works. I'm about 226 now. Next is 231/105.

I have a shot to eventually get the Louisiana Bench record in the 93kg. It's only 435. Squat is only 577. Deadlift is kinda high at 737.

I've gotta 435 before at a collegiate unofficial meet. It wasn't part of any affiliation but the judges used were IPF. Just a fun thing the gym did.

Record total is 1677.5

I actually sent out my registration for the meet on April 7th in Orange. I’m ready to roll in traditional raw, 198 lb class

No program really, just lifting very heavy. Usually do 5 sets of 5 on chest one day, same on squats and deads. Usually go for a one rep max on the 6th set, since I’m good and tired. Increase my weight every week. Pulled 475 on deads yesterday for 3 reps, so I’m thinking 550 might be doable at the meet, which would be a PR and would break my own state record within the APF submaster.
