I live in the south baton rouge area and I'm looking to buy a good used men's bike...

Lots of different styles of bikes out there. What exactly are you looking to buy? Street bike, mountain bike, dual purpose type, racer style bike, etc.

What do you mean by "good?" Entry level road bikes go for $1200+ brand new. Is that the kind of bike you're looking for?

I went to bicycle world in Lafayette. They were helpful and fitted me with a Trek for cruising the neighborhood. About 650$ all in.
I wanted a decent bike for some outdoor exercise, nothing more. Surely there’s similar options in Baton Rouge.

I just had this discussion with my adult daughter yesterday. She asked how much a bike costs, and I asked what kind. She said it didn't matter, and I was speechless.

People often ask me to suggest a bike, and I ask for what they are going to use it for and budget.
I never get tired of seeing their expression when I let them know that there are bicycles that cost well over $10,000.

Very. I've ordered at least 5 bikes from them. Show up quick. I've gotten a 29er, carbon road bike, wife a cruiser, couple more.
