Leg cramps while bench pressing

Doesn't happen with light or moderate weights, but I'll catch one regularly when I'm pushing heavy (for me). Pretty distracting trying to complete a rep while trying to manage a cramp. Anybody else get this?

I get that sometimes. Starts at my hip and goes down my leg.

Definitely get them. I like it - reminds me how important legs are to bench press. Also hurts. So I don’t like it.

Drink more water and stretch you lower half before bench. Hip mobility circles like the fire hydrant kind.

This. You don’t realize how much of your total body you use when bench pressing or squatting.
I always do a full body stretch on chest day and leg day to prevent cramps

This right here, when I started benching really heavy I experienced cramping.

I get them in the foot. More often when I'm cutting.
