I usually sleep around 7 hours a night.

I slept terribly last night. Hard to tell for sure how many hours I got, but I would guess 5 hours tops.

Would you still lift or take the day off?

I usually don't think twice about it, but don't want to wear my body down with the flu going around.

I'd lift unless I were feeling like shite.

I usually just make myself go. If I'm not "feeling it", I'll do what I can and leave.

I say go for it, unless you feel like absolute dog shite come workout time. Then maybe still go but keep it lighter. If you get an intense workout in and sleep like shite again, your recovery is going to suuuuck.

Or you can take a good preworkout and just power through

I once tried lifting on just a few hours of sleep. Worst workout of my life. Ended up leaving after 20 minutes. Pre-workout kicked in on the drive home

If it's programmed then yes.

That one night of sleep isn't going to effect you man. It's when it becomes a consistency that you'll really feel it.

Ended up skipping the workout. The more I thought about it, I probably got 2-3 hours of sleep and just get awful all day.

Back at it today with legs.

You can power through and just go to bed early that night. One short night won’t kill you.
