I can't find any chinos that fit my legs and butt

Buy "athletic" fit. A bit more room in butt and thighs, tapers down nicely. Goodfellow & Co. at Target makes legit affordable chinos. May be worth it to try them out.

I haven't tried their pants but the shirts fit a little snug in the arms.

Tried those tonight actually. I went to a size 38 just to get those to fit. I wear a 35. The leg hole was a little tight in the calves too.

I have short legs so I tend to gravitate toward slim fit pants. They simply look better on short legged peeps. All my pants are starting to get a bit snug in the thigh area. I guess that's a good thing.
