I won’t. Old, wore out, and retired. And really not that big.

I have gotten them twice in the last year and about 3 weeks out from my next one. I can only get them every six months. My pain completely disappears for the first 4-5 months, and slowly creeps in over the last month or so. Results seem to vary widely according to the ortho, but you have little to lose by trying it.
For context, I have had two knee surgeries on the same knee and my meniscus was removed during the second one 7 years ago. I am fit at 6'2" and 195-200lbs. I do regular strength training following the 5/3/1 program - critical to provide support to the joint. I stopped running regularly about three months before I started injections, but am able to hike, ski and bike pain free with the treatment. I do run twice a year and don't have issues, but trying to avoid knee replacement for another 10 years or so.
Hope this helps.

Yes it does! I’ve got one perfect knee and one that was injured when I was young. Still very active but pain is annoying. Getting my first round started next week. I appreciate your Info! Thanks!

Which brand are you getting? Synvisc, Supartz, Orthovisc, or a generic from a compounding pharmacy?
I've given Supartz and a generic to patients and had good results with both. Most experience is with the five rounds of Supartz injections given once a week for five weeks. Every patient but one had great improvement in pain relief an functionality/range-of-motion of the knee joint. The one that didn't get relief had SEVERE OA, but wanted to try the injections anyway.
If you have very mild or severe OA, then the injections probably won't help with your pain.
Look into getting PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections with/without hyaluronic acid simultaneously. I've had several patients receive these with great result each time.

Getting Orthovisc. Will have last of 3 injections next week. With 1st 2 have had reduction of pain. Thanks for the info! You are obviously a health care professional and I appreciate your input!
