How to tell a good daily calorie count for losing weight?

Exercise is not my problem. I enjoy it. Lift prob 4 days a week and run or do some form of cardio 3-4 days a week on top of being normally pretty active.
I prob eat way too much, not the best food, and have had a 6 pack a day habit for the last couple years. It’s taken it’s toll.
Need to lose about 30lbs to get back to my normal weight. Is there any ‘formula’ out there for an ideal calorie count to get there? Seems like my natural metabolism has turned to shite since turning 40 two years ago.

The above or this using the leangains calc. Just a starting point though.

The ‘formula’ is to stop drinking a 6 pack a day and eat better

Quit this and you'll lose weight. You'll probably lose 30 pounds from that alone.
That's gotta be 800+ calories

Cut out the beer. At the very least limit it to the weekend, and even then don’t crush a six pack. Have one or two, and be done with it. Alcohol will make you gain weight as fast as eating junk food all day.

Get your TDEE from TDEE Calculator
Don't lie on the thing.
Then eat 500 cals less than your TDEE says. You will easily lose 1 lb + a week. Track everything. Don't cheat yourself.

I didn't want to stop drinking when I first started dropping weight so I went this route:
+
Vodka
=
Profit
Obviously it's still alcohol so you're not as healthy as you could be. It will cut back on those extra calories though

Why drink those and consumer the sugar substitute they’re putting in
I cut back on beer and have swapped it for gin and sparkling water over ice. No carbs and negligible calories. Keeping beer to the weekends has been fairly easy so far.

Because he likes it and there's no harm in drinking sugar substitutes?
