I have a 12x13 room that I plan ton convert to a gym. I am putting a Peloton in there and a set of dumbbells. Will I have enough room to put a bench press/shoulder press setup in there as well or will it be too cramped?

My garage gym is 12x10.

If I had the extra feet I could fit a bike pretty easy I think. There's about 3/4 feet outside my power rack I deadlift in. If you don't do that, that's even more space towards bike.

Dumbbells would depend. If it's just two adjustables it should be fine.

Should be enough room. If you really want to save space get one of those benches that folds up against the wall.

Why don’t you just put your peloton in your sunlight atrium or glass walled garden room like the commercials?

Very clean.

You gonna take that all down to finish your walls?

I have one of the PRX hydraulic racks. They are awesome.

Bench press is probably the single worst movement you can do regardless of what your goals are. FYI.

You know that the bike is stationary, right?

Don’t be stupid just for the sake of being stupid.

I think so. Mine is 16x 22 and I have all that and still have half the room to use for my office. You can put the peloton sort of catty corner (sp) and dumbbells against a wall with the bench in front of it. Maybe get one of those benches that folds all way up for storage; they have several on Amazon.

Are you planning on doing curls? If so you'll need room for a squat rack.

Sell that other crap and replace it with barbells and a rack. Most bang for your buck in improving the quality of your life.

The wife has a Bowflex C6 bike. It's in the basement. She decided she needed the new Peloton bike, so that's going next to it when it gets here next week.
