Symptoms? I've been feeling something that is close to groin but maybe more hip on my right side. Not sure what it is.

A steroid shot right into the bursa will do the trick. Easy fix.

side of the hip (right side for me). outer side of body so not near groin. its at the head of the femur kind of near where most mens pockets in there pants would be. pain upon flexing the joint days after doing squats or presses that is at that spot as well as travels doing to lateral knee.

sounds like you got something else going on.

It cost me my Jr year of cross country. Finally got a Medrol dose pak and that knocked it out.

Medrol dose pack helped until it left my system.

I actually went to PT post knee surgery and told him about my hip. he tested my hip strength which was nill. We worked on that as well as knee rehab and all was well. I still do them most days and hadn’t had another bout of bursitis. It was miserable.

I have been dealing with an inner hip issue for years.

I finally went to see an Ortho doc and they X-rayed my inner hip. The cartilage on my inner hip is wearing thin. Doc told me I will eventually need hip replacement.

I now take fish oil supplements which helps with the discomfort.
I was taking Turmeric which was working fantastic until I found out it can cause kidney stones.

I am not saying that is your issue.

A good Ortho doc will find out what your issue is .
