Will a food allergy test help with guiding you on which diet to pick?

Also does a DNA test tell you which foods/diets may be optimal for your dna/etc?

Try the ketogenic diet. It will help you lose weight regardless of what your blood type or whatever BS someone will tell you.

Wtf is everybody's obsession with the whole "right diet for me BS"? Just find one you can stick to and stay in a deficit along with getting plenty of protein.

Other then that, lift heavy shite and move a lot more.

This shite is not complicated at all.

Awesome formula I came up with years and years ago... give it a try!

More calories consumed than burned = weight gain
More calories burned than consumed = weight loss

I know it’s a pretty complicated formula, but go ahead and give it a shot

But people in today’s age are lazy as frick and want the “easy” way. Consuming less calories and working out is way too complicated for some. Multiply that by the excuses of “I don’t have time” or “I don’t have the money for a gym membership” and you get an equation that equals fat people.

That combined with them stuffing their faces with a metric asston of carbohydrates (sugar). That’s why IIMYM is so dangerous for the general public. They aren’t tracking or if they are they are lying when tracking...

Isn’t this exactly what finding the right diet is for you?

Just find one you can stick to and stay in a deficit along with getting plenty of protein.

FWIW, food allergy/sensitivity tests are a complete waste of money unless you plan to do them weekly. The results change practically daily depending on what's going on in your body, and everyone blames the food and assumes the results are set in stone.

I took one. I think it’s helpful if you are trying to calm your immune system. There were several things that were permitted under a Whole 30 type diet that trigger reactions for me. Egg whites, almond, and coconut being among them. This could be why certain diets that have anti inflammatory effects for some, do not work for others. I think it’s also good for your sanity, because dairy did not show up and I have since added it back. When one door closes another opens so to speak.

well should be, i meant the whole is there testing for which diet is right for me BS that has been being posted lately

unless you have severe food allergies then its a waste of time and money. if you think you might have allergies just scale back the foods you eat to the bare minimum for 30 days and then add one in at a time and see how it affects you.

i dont understand why everyone over complicates things.

iifym in a lot of ways has taking on a whole different meaning. The original meaning when Alan Argon posted it on BB.com was simply a reply to the same question all the time which was if i am eating clean all the time and on one day of the week i want to have something not clean, is that ok? his reply was simply so long as it still fits into your macros, you are fine. This has caused people, like always, to twist the meaning to mean they can eat whatever they want.

while true fatloss is almost exlusively tied to the calories, inflamation and other health items are not.
