I'm considering trying to replace and add to my garage gym. I do mainly full body and some crossfire style workouts. Any advice on finding used equipment? Bumper plates are my first priority.

Power cage and a nice bar, then weights, then bench, pullup bar, dip bar, weighted vest gymnastics rings, power block or iron master dumbbells. Then strongman stuff

Damn bro, I mean this sincerely kudos for your dedication to health and fitness. I wish I had that dedication. Maybe if I had started younger it would be different. I didn't start getting serious about it until I was 37.

I've got a great power cage I constructed from 4x4's. What I am needing to upgrade is my cheapo iron weights form Dicks. I think I am going to pick up a new bar at fringe sports. I am looking at trying to find some used bumpers if I can.

I check Craigslist, FB marketplace and LetGo daily. I’ll see bumpers listed here (Nola) maybe once a month. It’s usually listed for not much less than retail prices and is typically lighter weights. The listings all disappear eventually so I’m guessing they all sell. I believe you can set up keyword notifications on the apps to alert you when something gets posted.

Fringe has some good bars. Probably close to the quality of Rogue. I’ve been to their store in Austin plenty.

There’s also some companies in Houston (I want to say again faster or something) that are always advertising bumper deals on Craigslist. I wouldn’t go crazy on bumpers because you’re going to beat the hell out of them either way. Best to buy and replace as needed.

Find local CF comps and buy some after the event.

Usually One More Athletics or Wright Equipment will be the weight provider and sell it after the events.

Next big event is Pensacola Spring Beach Brawl May 5-6 and One More Athletics will probably be there.

Getrxd is in Houston. Rogues bar are above the others except ivanko, Texas power and elinko along with one or two other Olympic manufacturers.

Fringe would be right behind rogue with a gap to the others.

As far as how to find equipment, Craigslist is going to be your best bet. For bumpers, rogue echo is hard to beat. Fringe Vaughn series is bad arse to if you want to go to comp plates

But before you buy bumpers, what kind of lifting are you doing that you feel you need bumpers?

I got my xebex rower and bike from them and I love them. their rigs are nice, everything else is well behind fringe who imo is well behind rogue, elitefts, sorinex etc.
