What do y'all eat after a workout?

When I lift at lunch my appetite goes crazy afterwards. The best thing I've found to hold me over until dinner is an apple and peanut butter. Roughly 300 calories. I've tried eating a smaller meal (lean meat, veggies and/or rice) and 30 minutes later I feel like I haven't eaten. What's y'all go to?

Usually just get some food. Rice, beans, sausage, pasta, beef, chicken, veggies. Today it’s chicken spaghetti

I run when I get up and I eat my steel cut oats those days. Other days I work out in the morning, so I eat lunch after. Are you eating your lunch before or after? Lately when I get the cravings between meals I just eat another apple or orange. Or chug 20 oz of water.

When I worked out at lunch I would eat a small breakfast (Greek yogurt) around 10ish and then eat my lunch after my lunch workout, usually around 1:30ish

I'm eating lunch before. I normally eat Greek yogurt and oatmeal after I run at about 5 am. Lunch at 1030, usually 6 to 8 oz of lean meat, a carb, and veggies. I've tried eating a smaller second lunch but don't always have enough time to prep that much

Skip the veggies and increase the meat. And branch out from just “lean” meat.
