Anyone have covid and having trouble exercising at all ?

I haven’t had it but I imagine it’s a rough time breathing. I’d just take it really really slow and light weight for now if you’re recovering from covid.

I'm scared and sad I may never get to exercise again

I did band workouts and stuff in my room while I was sick and quarantined. A week after I recovered I was back running and weight lifting.
Lungs burned a little more than normal but that faded after a week or so. Been back on 5 day a week routine for a few months now and feeling fine.

I hope we don't have lasting damage. I was going orange theory and hot worx

The common cold kicks my arse, training wise. I have to imagine its similar or worse than COVID. If you're having trouble breathing, back off some. Maybe walk twice a day and see how your body reacts.
Never mind. This is probably a troll.

COVID kicked my arse in the gym. After only being out three weeks, I could left the same weight but had no aerobic conditioning. None. Previously, I was one of the better conditioned people in the gym and now I was dying after five burpees. It's hard to describe how significant and shocking the decline was. The good news is that I'm 85% back after about a month so it doesn't seem to be permanent.
My advice: Take it slow. I've read that there is scarring and even possible heart damage and if so, thus takes time to truly heal.

This is scary. I was really into pushing myself and now I have to deal with this

Take it slow. Take deep breaths and an extra 30 seconds between sets.

You are trolling. What are you like 28 yrs old? You’ll be fine

I wish I was. Who knows of I can even swim ? Play intramural? Even bench press

A dude at my gym had a pretty good case of it. Said it took him about a month to feel "normal". I know that's fairly subjective but anytime we did anything remotely aerobic, it kicked his butt.

I went back today. Got over it about two weeks ago. No issues.

If it's who I think it is, he's in incredible shape too.
