anyone been prescribed enclomiphene along with test? doc switched from HCG to this on most recent prescription. just wondering if anyone has had any side effects or anything.

Did you ask why the switch? You’re taking hcg for fertility reasons?

Clomid while on cycle is a waste, if you need an Aromotise inhibitor (you don’t btw) then take one. A serm like clomid or nolvadex is dumb as hell to take while on and completely useless other then its gonna make you hate trt cause you will become emotional as hell.
Find a new doctor because your current doctor is dumb as hell on this subject

What would you run alongside it if your estrogen levels remained low and your prolactin levels were elevated.

Nothing, but if your prolactin levels are really high and actually causing side effects then you could do inhibit P if you wanted to go otc, cabaser of script
But why the frick are your prolactin levels high and wtf does that have to do with clomid? Clomid is a serm, nothing to do with prolactin levels. What’s causing the prolactin levels to be high? It isn’t the trt.
Figure that out first, and how high we talking? Within range? Don’t do shite

the dr says this is not for blocking estrogen like an aromotise inhibitor but to help keep body from shutting down test production on it's own while on cycle. not sure if im explaining it correctly.

Doesn’t work like that. Your doctor doesn’t know wtf he is talking about.
And if you are on trt, you should be for life. It’s not a cycle on cycle off treatment. It’s not a steroid cycle. You are replacing your own production because your production doesn’t work well.
Find a new doctor. And hcg would help keeping you sensitive to registration easy but all clomid is doing is binding to the estrogen receptor so estrogen can’t so it stays floating free.
TLDR: find a new doctor that knows wtf he is doing

The fact that there’s no board-approved medical protocol for preserving fertility while on TRT just shows how utterly clueless the medical community is about AAS.

Enclomiphene is becoming more and more popular for an alternative to HCG.
Clomid has two agents zuclomiphene and enclomiphene. They found that taking enclomiphene separate from zuclomiphene while on HRT keeps natural LH production, which helps to prevent testicular atrophy and permanent leydig cell damage.
Most think HCG is still the better of the two but it has been banned from compounding pharmacies due to patents, so the price has gone way up

Maybe in some lab but it doesn’t work like that in real life.
Do you have a link for the research? And hcg getting banned is the real reason. And clomid has lots of side effects compared to hcg. But if you are done having kids why do either and if you aren’t done having kids wtf you doing on yet anyways.

Too many guys go on gear and don’t want to accept the fact that they’re shutting down their own reproductive system so they take PCT drugs as a security blanket even though they don’t plan on having any kids in the future.

It's a bit of a vexing issue. Many guys on pretty robust doses are still considered quite capable of getting a woman pregnant.
Many years ago they started postulating that exogenous T would shut down the system and you would have circulating T like normal but no FSH LH and thus shut down endogenous T and sperm production. The desire was male birth control. They gave guys some pretty robust doses of injection T and still found more than enough residual sperm production to make it a non-starter for male birth control.
Ironically, these studies are generally ignored in the TRT debates because negative side effects and adverse reactions were not widespread and the doses were well tolerated. This does not suit those that would like to find every negative angle possible regarding the use of exogenous T.
If the federal govt would remove law and regulation that makes it so difficult to study things using T (AAS) we could get a lot more clarity on these issues and get them out of the underground world.

It would be nice to see AAS decriminalized to Schedule 4 but I doubt that will happen anytime soon. There aren’t any huge lobbying groups for AAS like there is marijuana and it’s already easy enough to get a TRT prescription if you find a clinic that will give you what you want
Posted on 11/20/23 at 12:57 pm to JasonDBlaha
should be decriminalized completely like it was before 1992 imo. doesnt meet the definition to be scheduled.
Posted on 11/20/23 at 1:14 pm to lsu777
And you know who proposed the legislation for criminalizing AAS in 1990? Biden himself

It was no different from when they held congressional hearings on violence in video games. Just mass hysteria over shite that’s been blown out of proportion

The highest I could get my natural T was 350 or so. The issue was... I couldn't sleep. And because I was exhausted I had no energy to work out anymore.
My diet was clean enough, I just felt like shite all the time.
I've lost damned near a foot off my waist and gained enough muscle that I'm noticeably bulkier.
If I go off in a year or so and my system recovers in 6-12 months... Great. If it doesn't, I'll go back on to trt.
I take it because my average sleep went up by 25 hours a week.

with results like that....why would you ever want to come off? its not like there arent new meta analysis coming out damn near monthly saying its safe long term.
not like we didnt know if you replace a hormone with a bio-identical hormone and stay within range it wouldnt cause issues.
