The best diet hack I know of to lose weight quickly is to cut off body parts.
Like everyone else says, discipline is key. Keto works for me better because I prefer meats. But the only way Keto works is if you don't cheat. It's not as much of a diet as it is a change in diet. You aren't eating diet food. You are just completely not eating carbs and sugar. Once you start basically eating grilled meats and cheese, it's hard to even eat the calories they suggest.
Unfortunately, many people have NEVER had to have discipline for anything in their lives so at the first sign of struggle (and there WILL be struggle) they quit and say it didn't work for them.

Literally just don’t eat for 2-3 days, then have whatever meal you’d like, then don’t eat for 2-3 more days. Repeat until you’re satisfied with your body composition/number on the scale.
We’ve been conditioned to think we need 3 meals a day + snacks. Maybe when we were killing mastodons and farming, but your average sedentary office worker doesn’t need that. Change your relationship with food; learn to view it merely as fuel instead of a “treat”. You’re not a dog, so quit rewarding yourself with food.

The only true hack I've found is to drink 32 oz of water before a meal. This will help you not eat a lot as you'll feel fuller since your stomach is literally fuller.
Also, you could use caffeine, such as coffee in the morning, as a hunger suppressant if your goal is to skip breakfast.

At the end of the day, you'll lose weight if you burn more calories than you take in each day. HOWEVER, instead of eating whatever you want but only eating X calories, focus on eating foods that SATISFY your hunger. For me, eating 500 calories of chicken satisfies my hunger way more than 500 calories of pasta.
250 calories of a donut affect you differently than 250 calories of meat.

It’s single food, so no milk.
However, you could make milk day 4 and skip eating that day then combine day 4 and 5 with the same effects.
