I can't speak for others as I have had lower test since mid 20s but when mine got real low I was crazy tired, like all I did was work, lift, sleep. Would go to bed around 7 and was still tired in the morning.

Also no matter how strict I was with diet and lifting, I never made much progress. But I refused to do anything until I was done having kids as I knew the risk of going sterile.

Surprised you lifted so heavy, got good sleep and still had low T. Hell, lifting heavy is probably the best way to keep T high.

Be sure to keep up with your red blood cell count. TRT can increase your level of red blood cells to a dangerous amount. Good to start being a regular blood donor.

Just keep being monitored by your doc. You are feeling great and have hit the sweet spot. You are losing weight and gaining muscle. You are motivated to workout and train and dial in your diet. You have regained your ambition. Testosterone is amazing at speeding up the rate of shedding fat in middle-aged men who have subpar Testosterone levels. I am sure he is checking your Estradiol and Hematocrit levels to make sure they are in line as well. Do not start playing around with Arimidex or other Aromatase Inhibitors without your doc. There is a lot more to measure than just TOTAL TESTOSTERONE levels - your doc is looking at percent free to total.

Here is some sage advice:

When getting your testosterone levels tested, I can’t stress enough the importance testing free testosterone (and not simply total testosterone).

And no, I’m not talking about analog or “direct” free testosterone tests — I mean a calculated free testosterone test.

Numbers are just that — numbers. They’re averages based on tests of many, many different people. They’re not one size fits all. If you’re experiencing symptoms, it really doesn’t matter what your levels are. You might not technically have low free testosterone, but you might still have testosterone levels that are too low for your body.

Everyone is different, and what works in your body might not work in someone else’s — that’s why we change dosing based on your body’s response (using numbers as a guideline) and recommend injections (which allow us to precisely measure and change your dose).

I would ask about changing your injection protocol, 2 weeks is a long time even for Cypionate. The field of TRT is a money-maker and sadly many conventional docs do not know much about it other than they will have a patient FOR LIFE once a certain timeframe has passed.

The takeaway here and from any information gathered from Internet sources is this: Just keep doing your homework and talking with your Doc. Find the BEST DOC you can.

lsu777, any issues with estrogen spike with TRT? Also, does twice per week injections, over time, create scar tissue in injection areas? What about HCG to keep the nuts in check (cosmetic reasons)?

Actually yea on scar tissue but if you rotate sights or do subq injections in the stomach, it's not a problem. Most of my scar tissue is from a year if daily hcg injections for fertility.

Why would you want your nuts bigger? Bigger balls=smaller dick. I'll take the bigger dick every time. But yes 500iu twice per week will work. Talk to your doc about it.

As far as estrogen goes, most people don't have a problem when in true trt doses. But always good but to keep an eye on it and your doc can prescribe an aromitize inhibitor if needed.
