How have you guys done this when you get knocked on your arse by the flu?

It hit me Tuesday morning. Went to my dr and tested negative for flu but showed all symptoms so he’s treating me like I have it since it sometimes takes a day or two to test positive. I’m on Tamiflu, ibuprofen and cough medicine.

This is day 3 of fever, aches, feeling like death, congestion and foggy ness

I’ve had no appetite and just want to stay in bed in the fetal position

Just walking up stairs made me stop because I ache and was out of breath so much. FYI I run every day

At this rate I feel like I’ll be out for a while until full strength. I’ve had 3 days of eating less than 1k calories.

Take care of your body first and listen. Bulking can wait

Stay hydrated and rest. You won’t lose all your gains in a week.

Keep in mind calories are good for recovery too. Rest, eat what you can, drink a lot and don't stress.

When you're better, plenty of time to get back on track.

The flu sucks. I got it like 5 years ago for the first time since I was probably 7 or 8 years old. I was shocked at how long it took to get my appetite and energy back. It was like 3 weeks before I felt 100% again. There is no fighting it. You might as well just accept that you will be down and out for a while and just focus on trying to force down something a couple of times a day.

Bone Broth and Health: A Look at the Science — Kaayla Daniel, Ph.D., CCN

A South American proverb claims "Good broth will resurrect the dead." While that's clearly an exaggeration, chicken soup has enjoyed a reputation as "Jewish penicillin" and bone broths are served to convalescents all over the world. In this presentation, Dr. Daniel will review the science that supports consuming bone broth for healthy bones, joints, skin, digestion, immunity and emotional stability. She will discuss 19th and early 20th century studies on gelatin, as well as recent investigations into the "conditionally essential" amino acids proline, glycine and glutamine and "the essential sugars" N-Acetylglucosamine and N-Acetylgalactosamine. Finally, she will report on Dr. John F. Prudden's clinical trials healing osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's, and even cancer with cartilage. In short, much science supports the ancestral wisdom of consuming bone broth.

Lean bulk????

Bulking gradually without adding an excessive amount of fat. It's a lot easier to lose the excess later on.
