This program seems to be working, starting to feel pretty strongly.
Flat BB Bench today:
225 x 8 x 3
Last Monday I only managed 225 x 8 x 1, 225 x 6 x 1, 215 x 8 x 1
Supped with decline cable press and delt work.
And I went rockwall climbing yesterday so I was pretty worn out to begin with.

It was 106 in my gym when my workout finished. Ugh.
3x3 ssb squats with 315 supersetted with RDL's x 5. Then 3 giant sets of split squats, GHR's and banded hip thrusts. Miscellaneous calves and abs.
For funsies at the end I decided to hit 400x3 at the top of every minute on trap bar deads until I was spent. 5 rounds and I was spent.

Unsafe heat advisory plus no ac in a garage gym = puking in mouth.
Volume upper. 5, 3, 2 with paused bench at 225, 235 and 245 in giant sets with rope sled pulls and side laterals. 3 giant sets of weighted dips, rows, skullcrushers and curls.
Cardio finish was 2 sandbag cleans at 200 lb and 15 battle rope shakes at the top of every minute. At the end of 6 min, threw up in my mouth and decided that was it.
In honor of the music thread, all cardio was done to Warrior by Scandal feat Patty Smyth.

Switching it up to 3 lower, 2 upper days this week. 111 degrees and humid, ugh.
Recovery lower. 3x5 box front squats in giant sets with GHR and banded hip thrusts. 2 sets of turkish getups and GHD situps at the end.

Didn't want to go today but did anyway.
Deadlift: 160, 165, 170 x10 each, then 2 reps at 255
Down to 165 lbs and slowly building my strength back.

Heavy bench, but no spotter. Just did 235x2 for four relatively easy giant sets with rope sled pulls, side laterals and shrugs. Then 4 more giant sets of weighted dips, curls and skullcrushers.
Finished with some strongman stuff. Four AMRAP sandbag cleans with 200 lb sandbag supersetted with battle ropes x 20.
Edit: music was the Friday Night Lights theme on repeat.

Hit a back workout Wednesday. I thought I did a pretty routine workout for me, but I must have grinded a little harder cause damn my traps and lats were burning yesterday.
Quick bench strength workout yesterday. 265 x 1 x 3
Supped with triceps and ended with weighted dips. I burned through 15 reps fairly easily with 45 lb so decided to bump up to two plates and wow, did that seem disproportionately more difficult than 1 plate. Felt good tho.
Thinking I'm gonna go for that big 300 next week.
