6 Wallballs (30/20 & 20/14)

Finished the 6th round of the 400M run after the cap. I managed to stay unbroken on strict HSPUs. Man, I hate running.

FT with 20 min CAP:
30 Ring MUs or 15 Rope Climbs/30 Strict CTB Pullups/30 Strict Pullups..
60 Burpees
90 Wallballs 20+/14+

I stuck with Strict Pullups, used the 30lb wallball and went 3/6/9 for 10 rounds.

Every 5 min for 5 rounds:

18 cals on C2 bike
18 kb dls (2x53lbs)
100m sled push with 175lbs
18 cal row.

Back cramped up at end of round 4 and just hung on through 5.

Did Chad for the first time ever today...

1000 20" Box Step Ups w/45# vest

Goal was sub-60, finished at 58:35 w/ 20# vest

Nice. We haven't tested it since we 1st hit it. I'm curious to see how it would go now with my left knee getting better.

Today at GCF, a bunch of lifting and a quick AMRAP:

A1) Split Stance (like a jerk) DB SA Tempo Presses: 3030 x 8-10 reps
A2) Tempo Ring Pushups 2121 x 8-10 reps
Rest 90 sec x3

B1) DB Alternating Floor Press (Keeping one arm locked out) 2020 8-10 reps
B2) Tempo Barbell Curls 2020 8-10 reps
Rest 90 sec x3

C) 8 Min Partner AMRAP 10 Cal row, AMRAP Pushups: Switch at 10 cals on the rower and keep running total on PUs. Total is combined cal rowed & pushups.

A1) Used the 50# DBs
A2) Elevated Feet Ring PUs
B1) Used the 50# DBs
B2) 65lb curls
C) 283 Rx (scaled was PUs from the knees)

A1) 40lb DB
A1) Regular Push Ups
B1) 50# DBs. This torched my chest
B2) 45lb curls

C) 2something... Cant remember atm


we had 3 people in our group and still did less than several 2-person groups. I can't do push up volume, even scaled down to knees.. after that chest burnout in the first round I just couldn't get many push ups. My chest is gonna be dying in 24 hours.

Workout of the Day

20 Minute AMRAP

5 Ring Muscle Ups or 2 Rope Climbs
10 Box Jumps (24/20)
15 Wall Balls (20+/14+)

I scaled pretty hard because I feel beat up, and was not feeling it. I went slow and steady, tried to not slam my heart through the roof. Still got dizzy and shite. Yesterday fried my CNS I guess.

Banded pull ups
20" BJs
14lb WB

You would think that one day my body would force me to stop talking trash before a workout to the guys that are literally half my age.

But I still do it.

I just make sure I put on a good face and make it out to my truck before I cry in pain.

Maybe I didn't need to do all those deadlifts that fast.

A) Bunch of core shite.. with a KB
B) 10 min Partner AMRAP: 2 Synchro Russian KBS 70/53, 2 Burpees, 2 Synchro Air Squats. Add 2 reps to every movement every round and split the burpees

A) Abs are gonna be sore
B) 180 Rx.. tackled it solo and did all the burpees. I was 15 reps into the Round of 16 KBS at the cap. If I had a partner and was able to share those burpee reps, I’m in the R of 18+.

Despite my disdain for burpees I was hoping to make it to that one but a family member was in the ER in Opelousas so that's where I was yesterday
