Workout of the Day
For Time:
10 Rounds:
10 Deadlifts (155/105)
4 Burpees Over Bar (Lateral)
10 Rounds:
10 Wall Balls (20/14)
5 Hang Cleans (154/105)
24 Minute time cap
I did 115lb DLs and cleans. Regular in-place burpees, 14lb wall balls
23:54. I was about in round 6 of the second set of 10 rounds and thought I was in a good pace but time crept up on me after that. Had to mash the gas pedal on the 1.5 rounds or so. Didn't die and I finished, so im good with that. It was a doozy.
For Time:

10 Wall Balls (20/14)

I'm still hobbled from the hip/IT issue so today is another lifting day. I limped around Key West for a week and it sucked.
This morning, I did some single legged circles before getting up and I've been pain free most of the day today, so I'm not pushing it until Monday.

Saw Dr. Cathy today and x-rays showed a very thin disc at L5-S1 to go with my C6-C7 thin disc. I have managed the C6-C7 well for the last year but the L5-S1 is the issue causing leg pain down the left side.
I'm a walking medical ward these last few years.
Should be back doing CrossFit things in the next few days.

Probably.
Prolonged sitting flares it up right now. The 2 hour flight to Miami and 3.5 hour drive down to Key West (and then back a week later) really irritated it.

Yesterday's WOD & a bad night's sleep got me feeling like arse, and I usually don't go on Wednesdays so I decided to go light and stretch out after. 75lb jerks, ring rows. Did all PJs unbroken. 4:14.

I'll go one more day before showing up.
A visit to the ortho yesterday ruled out a nerve issue. He suspects hip impingement or a strained IT near the hip. Snatches & Box jumps would irritate it further.

7:03 Not even close to my fastest time but considering it was the 2nd WOD in 30 minutes, i'll take it. Legs were absolutely on fire during the squats.

40lb DB for snatches & step-ups
Not much of a score to keep here as everyone did the same work at varying weights. This one was just a mental test to continue moving when you really didn't want to anymore.
