Haha I will likely be doing girl/modified pushups for the last 50 at a minimum. First year doing murph and plan on doing a good bit of drinking at the pool today. Laying out my workout stuff so drunk PTJ sees it before making a decision to try to go out after
Didn't realize people broke out the workout. Will definitely take that approach. Wouldn't mind wearing a veest for the runs, but definitely won't have one for the rest.

Careful drinking too much and doing a WOD like Murph in the heat and not properly hydrated.

Full Murph
My version:
1mi run
5 knee pushups
5 jumping pullups
5 knee pushups
15 air squats
1mi run (really a walk.. I did a little running but my legs were Jello)
20 rounds
69min 14sec
So next year's goal will be under 69 minutes. Really need to improve my running, especially when fatigued.

55 minutes and 15 seconds of telling myself “you were told not to do this to yourself!”
Was a lot “easier” than I thought. Did jumping pull-ups and didn’t have to modify pushups. Wish I had done kipping pull-ups now, but I do think it would have absolutely crushed me.

I don’t find Murph too bad done 5/10/15. That last mile in the blazing sun makes you think twice.
Did it w my boys this morning
7 yo ran 1/2 mile, supine pull ups, box push ups and air squats
10 yo ran the full miles. And banded pull ups.
We all did half the reps. So 50/100/150 (or close enough!). It was fun and they were whipped. We celebrated w donuts and Fortnite

If my left calf would stop cramping (tore it 7 years ago) I’d be low 50s with a vest,

He’s been training with one of the owners and he did all 100 pull-ups strict. Kid ran a 6 min mile in his 1st mile.

Wore my plate carrier for the workout. They wanted you to go to failure every round.
Started out with a set of 16 and then chipped away the remaining 34.
Workout was for time, but the goal was to make it a 10 min AMRAP if you finished inside of 10 min.
