This one going to frick me. I can’t do many strict HSPU not to mention after my shoulders are fatigued from all the other shite.

I crush strict HSPUs but I have let my DUs collapse into disarray.

Yeah by itself but not grouped with everything. My goal is to get to the 185 snatch.

Sounds good to me.
At one point, I had worked up to 30+ unbroken strict HSPUs. It's probably 25 now, so sets of 10 will be easy under fatigue.

We don’t do much snatch at my gym because it’s so technical and the probability of injury is higher than most movements, at least that’s why I think we don’t. So I’m not too trained in them unfortunately. My goal is to make it to the 185 with the chance to hit one or two. We’ll see if I have enough gas to make it that far - I hate wall walks.

Got 13 HSPUs so 150 total reps. Not sure I would have been able to land any 185 snatch reps because my shoulders were blasted by the time I got to the push ups. I warmed up to 185 before the workout just in case though

Alright that was brutal. Second round of wall walks ruined me and I don’t know why, I’m not terrible at them. Reps 3-4-5 on that second set just felt like a brick wall. I think I’ll retry this one for my own ego since it’s shorter

I had almost 4 minutes and got 8 HSPU. I kind of thought that was going to happen. I got 8 and had 40 seconds left and couldn’t do any more. I didn’t think the first part was going to hurt as bad as it did.

Redid it today and got 152 reps. First time around I got 126. I really felt proud of this one. Y’all are right - those hspu go without much warning and once they’re gone, they’re gone lol

I’m sitting far enough into the 90th percentile that I don’t need to redo this one thankfully. Can’t wait for the quarterfinals where I can get buried by heavy weight and harder gymnastics movements that I don’t have time to work on during the year

The redo/wait until Monday people got me. I ended up in the 89th percentile. I watched my score drop all day but there was nothing I could do to increase my HSPUs so no point in redoing I’ll try again next year and work harder on gymnastics and get stronger. That is the highest I’ve ever finished.

I finished 91% and 96% for old men. I’m not doing the quarters. frick all that noise.
