The chip timer on the foot is shite.

It needs to be on main trunk to fix the issue.

Removing the rope climbs completely changed this workout. Speegle would have been towards the bottom of the pack on the women’s side if it had legless climbs in it.

This big time...totally different event, went from an gymnastic/strength workout to just strength. Compiling that with Event 12 just now...strength people are getting handed top 5 positions.

Guaranteed Brandon and Adams shouldn't be top 5 if they can't do those weights at all, but the leaderboard shake up today has been noticeably in favor of strength athletes. We all knew Horvath was good but she's going from 7th this morning to getting 3rd place for the games in 2 events. Shes up like 30+ points on Brandon now

100% agree with you.

The last sandbag tie break last night, Gui easily won the tie break but the "chip" says they magically tied.

I think the chip is on one shoe and it must have been on his second foot and Matthew’s first foot. Honestly, they should have a chip on both feet and the last time is your recorded time.

Hard to tell but this is the image going around online...looks like the tag is on the lead foot...both of Mathew's feet are still on the ground. I don't know who supplied these timers but they are garbage.

They need to be smarter with rain.

It wouldn’t take long to remove ropes from the rig and re-install if an overnight rain storm is known.

..or just put all rope climb events indoors in future events.

Remember one of the Opens? They let the rope too long and Scott Panchik twisted his knee stepping on it coming down from a climb. That's lawsuit material

This is a huge hole in her game. She’s got to fix that if she wants to contend.

I don’t think she can. Younger girls are coming in that are already better than her: O’Brien and Lawson with more on the way: Kerstetter.

And that’s not including those older who have a good 4-5 years left.

She’s better off on a team.

She's like 21 years old and this was her worst finish.... At 9th.

No one has won in the last 6 years except Tia. Hayley Adams has been one of the most most consistent in the world in that time frame.

She may never win, but neither will most everyone else.

Ya she had a pretty strength focused year, but I really didn't see a lot of progress. I mean 215 isn't a crazy weight for the women that only a handful can do. She along with 4 other girls couldn't do 215 clean/FS. That's not good at all for someone expecting a top 5/3 finish. She couldn't finish the 1st clean ladder last year and didn't even attempt the 2nd.

Girl needs to get some on some of the steroids they are giving the bison for a month or two. I'm sure Rich knows when the drug tests are coming lol.

However same can be said for Brandon...I was incredibly surprised that the yoke buried her like it did, along with the FS.

Neither will be able to make a legitimate run at top 3 over the next 2-3 years without fixing their glaring strength issues. You just can't make up the differential in points with 2-3 20+ place finishes.

I don't see Mal putting on much more weight for strength but she has a motor and some strength that could get her middle of the pack on those events. Emma probably could and if she gets stronger even at only 17...she has the potential to be a Toomey. Girl has a nice frame to put some more weight on to lift and can afford to lose some mono structural cardio cause she's very good at it already.

I think Haley will have a career like Noah Ohlsen: Always around the T5/T10 but never good enough to win.

Now, it’s enough to make a nice career for 5-10 years, but no idea beyond that.

I thought I saw her wincing during the sand bag lift

That was some good showing on that last event but too little to late for Haley. Haley should have done T&F. I can see her as an Olympic Heptathlete.

If Tia goes, I think it will be fun to watch a Mal, Emma, Laura slugfest. BTW-How bout that Horvart come back?!?!?. That was pure epic for her to get back on the podium.

She's the second best in the world without much debate other than handstand pushups. She literally can't do them

I thought the men's was a good one two three punch as well. Those guys went back and forth. I enjoyed this year and I think I'll enjoy it more if Tia left. Like to see Laura get a gold.
