wait so you think layne is wrong?

Brother, Layne Norton has been 'wrong' so many times on the internet we don't have time to cover it here. Even he will tell you he has been wrong. It happens. It's not like I am telling you to eat quail eggs and you will look like Mike O'Hearn. What is your measure of how much someone 'knows' about nutrition? Is it how they look? How 'fit' they are? How 'strong' they are? How many pieces of paper they have handing on their wall? How many fitness/bodybuilding trophies they have? How many condescending 5 paragraph essays they type on internet chat forums? All of the above? Set a metric for me.

Not an influencer nor am I trying to 'sell' anyone on here on any product, diet, training plan, etc. I do agree with you about 'inflencers' and how they manipulate people for personal gain. I'm not doing any of that. All the fake shite you people are ingesting isn't good for you and its why every single developed nation in the world has banned them and its why our country keeps getting fatter and fatter.

no shite layne has been wrong but not on this he isnt and has had dozens of studies and half a dozen meta analysis proving him right

as far as who has nutrition knowledge....none of the things you listed. its kind of like the old quote on porn....i know it when i see it.

but yea education is important, so is real world results. both of which layne, AA, Martin, couple others have too.

im sorry again, you have no scientific studies and no meta analysis showing any of the things you are trying to preach..

and sure pure unaltered foods are overall better in the long run, thinking that is the main issue in this country or thinking that is why peopel are fat shows lack of knowledge on thermo, DET, TEF, overall biological processes going on etc etc. sorry it just does

and its essentially the definition of majoring in the minors.

again produce the studies or even better 1 single meta analysis to prove your point or stfu

telling me corrupt as frick countries overseas banned something isnt proof, far fricking from it.

You been living under a rock the last 20 years? We ARE the most corrupt country on planet earth. We don't give two shits about the health and well being of our citizenry. Look around you. Everything here is driven by $$$$$$. How is banning things that are fricking horrible for corrupt? What is actually corrupt is feeding your citizens all that crap and acting like it doesn't matter. Those things are in our food because they are cheap and lower costs which is all that matters to a corrupt country.

Why do you believe in the govt so much as to believe they know what is actually going on? Do you think they could've overreacted to a single study and decided to ban it? If all you are going on is X govt banned this substance so it must be bad, you really need to do more homework. Find the studies on why they are banned and get back with us.

To be clear, not all studies are great and most can be flawed or manipulated. Eating "fake shite" could be good for you or bad for you and I'd agree that avoiding it whenever possible is probably wise. However, if a tiny microgram of preservatives in a diet drink is 0 calories vs a drink that is 300 calories, the 0 calorie drink helping lose weight will help out in the long run on lifespan better than the alternative.

So the introduction of things like seed oils, artificial colors, preservatives, sweeteners, flavorings, etc. has had no impact on our country becoming more and more obese and unhealthy? Is that what you are saying?

We are fricking corrupt. Our whole governmental system is corrupt. Look at the 'food pyramid' it is a laughable joke. Yet these people know what is best for me nutrition and health wise? Come on man!

ummm no, they really didnt have a ton of effect. seed oils way more than the rest. over average we consume more calories and burn much fewer calories than we have ever in time.

the data is out there go look at it

next you gonna tell me our metabolism slows greatly as we age despite all the evidence showing otherwise.

No, I'm going to tell you all these fake chemicals you are so fond of wreck the cells and everything else in your body which will in turn impact how 'healthy' you are. There are reactions and consequences which in turn cause side effects and hasten certain conditions.

Bruh, if you'd just show us the studies. We'd likely change our minds.

I used to think that artificial sweeteners acted the same as regular sugar so there was no point in drinking them. I changed my mind on it and the studies have shown how great diet drinks are for healthy weight even compared to water in dealing with satiety.

MOST of the issues with health nowadays are from obesity related illnesses and side effects. It's not these preservatives and other stuff.

And I used to think professional bodybuilders and fitness competitors were 'healthy' as well but they are anything but. I mean everything looks great on the outside so there can't be anything wrong on the inside? Right? See the issue with your line of thinking? I mean if someone is a 'healthy weight' they must be healthy? Right? I think part of the problem is the standards in America for what is actually 'healthy' have become skewed (because we are so unhealthy)

Its like how 15 years ago I would be embarrassed telling anyone I had a 650 credit score but now that isn't considered so bad and standards have been lowered because so many people have such shite credit they wouldn't be able to buy anything unless standards are lowered. It's the same with being 'healthy' and what are 'healthy foods'. Half the people that think they are healthy look like absolute shite.

you got any studies proving the "fake" ingredients you listed have effects on cholesterol, resting glucose levels, resting heart rate, blood pressure, BPH, effects liver or kidneys????

show the studies proving you right

well known for decades now that steriods that many BBers take can and will cause issues when taken in excess like many are, also known that getting to the BF level it takes to get on stage is really unhealthy and plays hell on the kidneys and liver

again :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah:

show some studies!!!

SMH is right. Keep thinking that none of this matters and isn't causing any problems what so ever. That we all the sudden became an obese nation because people stopped 'exercising' or because 'portions' all the sudden are bigger. That things like cancer, leukemia and diabetes just skyrocketed because of people not exercising. Has nothing to do with all the stuff we ingest. Right? Not a single thing. Plastics are probably 'ok' to you as well I assume? Nothing wrong with those either.
