Has anyone taken on a complete bodyweight only training program for any extended period of time for any physique or aesthetic goals? If so, were you happy with your results?

I did Body by Rings when my gym was closed for covid. I liked it a lot and got a lot of benefits from it. It's nice having full mastery of your body weight and it really helped my shoulder mobility. Legs are going to be very tough without weights but you can stick one foot in a ring and do bulgarian split squats, or do assisted pistol squats with the rings. You should probably get a Weighted vest at least for leg training though. Or go make a sandbag

this. get you a set of rings and google body by rings pdf and then get a vest, kb, or make a sandbag to really get the legs.

on the legs do lots of uni-lateral work.

Body by Rings

Just read a Review on this program, and I'm interested in. It would be a good change from my normal barbell lifting.

Yea its a good program. The first couple weeks will really humble you but after about 3 weeks your stability on the rings will dramatically improve. He good thing with rings is you can easily adjust the angle for regressions/progressions. You'll definitely work some small stabilizer muscles that get neglected a lot with barbell training and build some core strength as well. Talking about it is making me want to run it again lol.

Look in to MovNat if you want a lot of variety. It is mostly body weight. I have been practicing for about 14 months and have lost 30 pounds and feel great.

I bought paralettes that I use once a week for L-sits and planche progressions, but no formal program.
