Take Carditone instead. Works well. On Amazon.

Not a very good BP drug.
If it is only for blood pressure and nothing else and no other medical problems, you should be on something different, like Lisinopril.

My dad was on it short-term after both of his heart surgeries. He hates it. Keeps BP and pulse down, sometimes too well. He was slurring so bad one time that we thought he was having a stroke. They cut his dose and it was a little better but he still reported that tired feeling you mentioned. Let your doctor know about how you're feeling and see if there's anything he can do.

I take it for heart rate after having mitral repair. It stops PVCs I was having and has been awesome with no side effects. If you can tolerate Lisinopril I would see if they let you try it though like previous poster suggested.

Chest tightness seems like the opposite of what you want with that drug.
It's a non-selective beta blocker and I believe you can have some global side effects including erectile dysfunction. There are more selective beta blockers out there if you run into issues.

Not a doctor, but my understanding this is not a drug primarily used to control blood pressure. It's more for AFIB.

It’s a beta blocker that used to slow down all crazy rhythms, including Afib.
Carvedilol Is a beta blocker that is great for blood pressure as well as rate control. It’s used primary in heart failure patients.
