Keep seeing fitness guys online talk about 20-32oz of water with .25 a tbsp of salt in the water each morning. Anyone do this?

It’s not dissimilar from taking electrolytes, so yes. This version is just cheaper and tastes worse.

Sugar-free liquid IV or LMNT works fine for me and tastes infinitely better.

Someone just asked about this. Hydration specifically. But yes everyday I mix creatine with an LMNT pack. drinklmnt.com if you wanna research. I can send you a referral link and you’ll get a free box (so will I)
I’ve been taking it for a few years and absolutely love it. Best hydration packets in my opinion. Great for a hangover too just FYI

I take a scoop of electrolyte powder and 1/4 tsp of salt first thing in the morning before any caffeine.

A pinch of Celtic grey sea salt never tasted like much of anything to me in 32oz of water. I was guzzling insane amounts of straight water, and it calmed my "need" a bit. Now I just use a half a stick of Jocko Hydrate in workout water, and use about the same amount of Hydralyte in my work water repeatedly throughout the day.

I do this moreso because I have a RO system for my water and I put a large pinch of Celtic or Baja salt in each jug I drink to remineralize it

LMNT provides their recipes on the web site for those not wanting to pay the high cost.

Does the type of salt matter much? Does Morton salt work ok or should I get something else?

Yeah, that's fine. I just plain table salt.

Dang, didn't realize LMNT posted their recipe. I've tried to look for those forms of each salt and haven't found them in bulk. But didn't try that hard. Tearing open a pack in the morning to put in my water bottle got work is just so easy. Going to start adding in creatine soon.
