I had three eggs, slice of wheat toast, and bowl of cheese grits.

Then I had a whole bag of rice cauliflower and vegetables with grilled chicken.

Then I had a protein bar.

Right now I'm starving. I want spaghetti.

I'm not gonna lie - I have paused my meticulous counting until after New Year's Day. As you've probably seen on my Instagram lately

I clocked in at 5lb under my 2nd goal (10lbs under my original goal) a few weeks ago and decided I wanted to enjoy the holiday season. I'll probably be right at my original goal weight by the end of it, so it won't be a huge deal to lose those additional 5lb.

I usually cook a big batch of whatever on Monday and eat leftovers on Tues and Weds. Then I always have a quick meal such as seared tuna burger or black bean and avocado tacos on Thurs. Fri and Sat I allow myself to eat whatever but I do try to go for the healthy option at whatever restaurant we are at. Sunday is another quickie meal such as pasta. Lunch is almost always an avacado, lettuce and tomato sandwich w/ pretzel chips. The best thing I have done is cut out all the cheese and butter except on Fri/Sat dinner. I am 53 and have a 4pack bordering on a 6pack after cutting out butter & cheese last year.

Breakfast and lunch are not the problem. Usually once I get home.

Tomorrow is our work pot luck lunch. I’m skipping breakfast
