would really appreciatte if everyone just posted there...its the thread designated for this type of posting. keeps the board clean
Maybe if it had a better thread title, posts like this would be put there. I assumed putthaforkdown was all about dieting only. I guess in my ignorance, I thought exercise would be off topic there even though it’s a huge player with actively trying to lose weight.

Weighed in at 205 this morning

I’m starting to look and feel leaner. My energy levels appear more sustainable with my testosterone shots increasing from 120 to 160

I've been trying, but haven't made progress in the weight department. I was only 178 when I started (5'-9" at 39 years old). I wanted to get down below 170, but the lowest I've got was 171. I've cut out a lot of alcohol and junk food, and been exercising 3 times a week with a mix of cardio and weights. I have gained a decent bit of muscle mass, so maybe that's why I haven't lost as much weight as far as raw numbers go. My wife is liking how I look and I feel better all around. I am interested to see how my blood work looks at my annual physical next month. They weren't so hot last year.

I recently have had two random people unprompted tell me I look like I lost weight. That was encouraging.

Any reasonably active male can lose 8-10 lbs just by changing what they drink, not necessarily what they eat.

Cut out ALL soda, sugar-loaded coffee, and Gatorade-type drinks. Replace with water. Lose weight.

Then stop caring about the numbers on a scale. You're winning.
