Any of you ever had an issue with tingling legs? (Non-diabetes related)?

It’s very annoying.

If so, did it ever go away, and did you have to take something or do something to get it to go away?

About a year ago I was having some tingling (and wake-you-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night BURNING) on the front of my left upper thigh. I believe it was diagnosed as Meralgia Paresthetica. It was caused by nerve compression. For me it eventually went away as I started dropping weight. Every now and then (extremely rare) I still feel a little tingling, but I can't even begin to recall the last time I had the burning sensation. That is not something I miss at all. When those instances happened, it felt like my thigh was being branded with a hot iron.

I was thinking it could be a compressed nerve, but I'm not feeling any burning or pain. It just feels like two little trolls down there, tickling my calves.

I’ve been having a similar issue for at least a year. I have 24/7 actual twitches in my lower legs … almost seems like one per second and it is non-stop. It feels like the ends of my nerves are sparking. When I lightly lay my hands on the outside of my lower legs, I can actually feel the tiny twitches or spasms. These are minute and all over the place between the knee and ankle … not a charley horse or a muscle spasm.

I don’t think this is restless leg syndrome which I believe is at night only. Peripheral neuropathy? Impending Parkinson’s? I should probably make an appt with a neurologist.

I have 3 pinched nerves in my lower back 5 total. This causes me to have numbness in both quads and sometimes drop foot. If I daily stretches and walk 8-10 miles a week the symptoms lessen a lot. Also stretching when symptoms occurs helps a bunch

I have the same thing. Pretty sure it’s my sciatic nerve being compressed somewhere.

Had tingling in my fingers and feet/ toes that ended up being a B-12 deficiency. Went away after taking liquid B12 drops (50,000 IU’s) under the tongue. Took about 3-4 weeks to fully go away . Now just take drops 2-3 per week.

I've been living with this for years, unfortunately. Increasing exercise has helped, but I haven't lost enough weight for it to go completely away. It just takes longer before it becomes an issue.
