I did it last year and loved it. I hadn’t maxed on deadlifts before and I picked a number that was heavy for me and ended the month at a max 100 pounds heavier than my TM

I kinda wish I could get up early enough to get today's workout done before learning what tomorrow's workout is. Day #16 seems like a fun yet challenging change of pace, Day #17 sounds like..... All those double sets....I'll need to get my manservant Balthazar to help keep accurate count of everything or I'll get lost, and then I'll have to have him feed me supper because my fricking arms won't work anymore.

I'm getting very anxious to head on tackle my greatest weak points once I get done with Squatober, conditioning and flexibility. Losing body fat is still priority numero uno, but as for training, I want to focus on increasing my cardiovascular capacity and my flexibility. Don't really know exactly what I'll do. I'm researching options now. Probably gonna buy the Greyskull conditioning books because so far I really like everything else Greyskull that I've read. For Flexibility I'm looking at Legendary Flexibility by that Jujimufu guy, I really don't know where to start with all of that so I figure a stretching/flexibility book by him is best for me because at least he's a lifter. Most of the books on flexibility I'm finding seem aimed at a different audience. Any recs y'all may have are appreciated.

Doing my homework for Backarms University.

Are you using same weight throughout or adding for the lower reps?

I’m planning on adding weight for lower reps, but also open to playing it by ear.

I was planning on sticking with one weight if I can.

I think I’m going same weight but I’ll adjust if needed. Those last few sets are gonna be tough I think.

I plan to add weight but I always underestimate the difficulty of the cardio

For a 3 day a week change, I'm finishing the last 4 weeks of Brace Yourself. Then Stacked and Jacked in Dec. Summer here by then, it will be hot in the garage.

After day 17, quads and knees are in a permanent state of warm

Today was one of the first days my legs just felt dead. Struggled to get through it/stay motivated.

Bench was fine

Got through about half triceps before I had to leave. Probably had to do with extended time between squats that I ran out of time

I was surprised that my legs felt similar getting out of bed. While that SS wasn’t terrible while doing it yesterday, it definitely hit the legs hard.

Can’t believe how dead my legs feel this morning. Yesterday’s workout didn’t feel bad at all while doing it.

Agreeed. The middle of the night bathroom trip made me feel like an 80 year old man.

Day 17...

This was another long one at 90min for me. Squats were good. Bench was surprisingly better than expected. It's been lagging for me, but the 90s went up fairly easily.

I love skullcrushers, but frick those things. That was a shite ton of them. Arms are jello now.

Had to skip the 88 squats today. My knee stiffened up on me on h th e 2 sets, tried to push through but didn’t want to chance it on the heavy ones
