Insanity looks more intense, I agree. I haven't done Insanity, though.

If swimming and pushups and shite I can do at home is a waste of time, I might as well not do it then.
Bodyweight exercises and swimming will kick your arse if you havent been working out. Look at P90x. That is all bodyweight lifts with minimal use of some lighter dumbbells.

You have to understand, though, that swimming and pushups and eating "okay" is a massive leap from my normal pizza/buttery French food/never exercised in my life.
You dont have to give up those foods altogether. You can tweak your eating habits and concentrate on portion control when you do eat pizza/buttery croissants. It's not all chicken and brown rice. Salmon (sushi!!!), tuna, shrimp, crab, scallop, ground turkey, beef filet & sirloin, pork loin, nuts, beans and other legumes, any fruit, any vegetable, dairy daily in moderation, breads and whole grain pastas in moderation. It's about tweaking a lifestyle and not changing a lifestyle.

I used to hate Plyometrics and Plyocide (which is X2), but T25 has made those workouts almost easy for me.

well to be fair I didn't get as far into T25 as I did insanity. only got a few days into it actually. I enjoyed insanity. They are similar though so I'll probably give it another shot maybe in September.

Oh. P90X2 and Focus T-25. They are Beachbody programs.
Posted on 7/24/14 at 3:16 pm to SabiDojo
ahhh.
If I could offer one piece of advice on those programs. Once you understand the ranges and types of moves...make your own program, an vary it as often as possible.

Yeah, I've thought about that.

I have both of them and I have done all of the insanity discs. I've only done I think 3 or 4 of the T25 workouts, but with that sample, I prefer Insanity when time isn't a factor.

It's not that hard. I can do over 15 dead hangs with relative ease. No kipping.
Ya...but you are a ninja!

I'll try this. We'll see if I actually follow through with it.

Not even, though I'm pretty proud of how far I've come. Last October, I was ridiculously out of shape. I look much better now, though some people say I've gotten almost too lean.

Just watched one of those videos. Looks super high energy, but not bad.
My downstairs neighbors might hate me, but I'm willing to give it a go.
ETA: Another completely tard question: How bad would it be to not wear shoes?
I don't even think I own tennis shoes (but I might?). I have tile floors and always do pushups and lunges and crunches barefoot.
