I know a lot of us did the 10,000 push-ups in a month challenge during the month of April so I thought I'd do it again for the month of June.

It's between two major holiday weekends so it's good to get over Memorial Day's drinking and eating and prepare yourself for the 4th of July festivities.

Anyone else up for the challenge?

I am interested in doing this. Any good apps with trackers, reminders, etc?

I didn't use any premade apps last time.

I just made tic marks on a piece of paper indicating 40 reps per mark.

I plan on posting in this thread once I've achieved at least 333 per day.

My buddy the Muffin Man said he wanted to do this too, but he’s a MASSIVE pussy. Calling him out to try to peer pressure him into doing it.

I am in. I did the murphy challenge Monday so I know I am capable of 200 pushups in a day, but my shoulders are killing me today.

Bump for tomorrow's start date.

I bought one of these to help ensure I hit all parts of the upper body. It also helps keep your form in check.

Power Press Push Up System (Amazon)

It even comes with a workout plan:

For those without a power press push up system, how are you handling pushup form?

I did it in April without the board and didn't have any issues. I just found a more comprehensive push-up workout option when a co-worker showed me the board.

He brought it into work one day and I liked the way it isolated different parts of the chest.

During the last challenge I alternated between wide set, regular and diamonds.

Day 1 complete.

I set a goal of 350 reps.

The push-up board has 14 different positions so I did 25 reps of each one.

Holy hell was that a workout. I gotta say this thing is pretty awesome. I look fricking swole as shite.

Well frick, might be out already. Was hitting some balls with my boys at the batting cages. Decided to hit the 80mph balls with the 40oz wooden bat....big mistake, think I pulled an oblique or at least strained it.
