You can see the difference already today. Balls are holding in spots that would have rolled off yesterday.

Because they know they fricked up yesterday, and everyone in the world is fully aware except for a few cocksmokers in this board.

It’s also still the morning. The greens will definitely get significantly more firm as the day goes on.

And now Poulter(among many others)

"The 42-year-old, who has never shied away from airing his opinion, went to town on the USGA Saturday evening. He dismissed Mike Davis' apology and wondered on Twitter, "How can this team keep doing this without consequences?"

Poulter also asked, "Did Bozo setup the course?" when Sunday's tee times were announced."

They completely overreacted to yesterday and softened this golf course way too much for a US Open

Then why are you mad someone landed on the green and rolled into a bunker? Bet you weren't mad when Sergio rolled it back into the water 4 times

Because there where shots that landed on the RIGHT side of the green that rolled into bunkers, everyone knows where you can miss it or not at Augusta numbnuts.

Screw that, these guys are too used to playing driver - wedge on every hole. A course like this makes them use every club in the bag and reward laying up rather then going for the green. These types of courses are what Jack played on weekly

I tend to agree with this, more so especially if one adds in Arnie and Ben and you take into consideration the sticks and balls they had in their bags.

I prefer the golfers whining than fans who aren't even playing.

So you expect them to change it in the middle of the round?

Really not sure what else you would want them to do.

It was windy.

Two hole locations were bdsm.
It only takes one or two 6s on par 3 or 4 to ruin your round.

From Golfwrx:

PGA Tour players are slaying the USGA and its chief Mike Davis
Just look at these quotes from Brian Wacker’s bit for Golf Digest.

“It’s a private fraternity and you abide by their rules,” one multiple major winner said. “[USGA CEO] Mike Davis is Dean Wormer, except the ending is not as good as Animal House.”

James Hahn: “To me, that’s amateur hour...They don’t know how to run a professional event because they don’t run professional events.”

“Not only have we lost trust in the USGA as players, but I’ve lost trust in our national open to be in the hands of an organization like that. For how well other tournaments are run, the U.S. Open has fallen to the worst major that we have.”

“A lot of players are disenchanted with the organization, the tournament and the setup,” said a former winner of the event. “No, I don’t trust them.”
