What are you guys looking to work on this winter when it might be hard to get out and play as much as we'd like?

I just went through the beginning of a grip change and have been jacked at the almost instant improvement. Need to work on the balance between strong and weak to get the flight how I would like it though. I went through a very deep valley since my lowest round of the year. My alignment was off and my eyes were fooling me, I couldn't make decent contact if my life depended on it, so I decided to finally work on a better grip that could set me up for success. So far, I'm very excited and looking forward to getting back to the range to lock it in.

Get in better shape (besides round). Have a trip to Bandon Dunes next year and I need to be ready to walk 36 holes 3 days in a row.

Play at least once or twice a month. I'm not as much concerned with scores, etc. over the winter. But taking three to four months off like I've been doing is not good for my golf the next spring/summer. I end up forgetting how to hold the club.

Once or twice a month will at least keeps the muscle memory there.

My goal is to be able to play once a week. I know the weather won't cooperate at some point, but I've managed to play every weekend since the time changed. It's not much, but that's a win in my book.

Same. I lost 35 lbs this year. I can drop another 20 easy.

Also, I want to continue the progress I’ve made with 70 yards and in game.

Gotta get rid of this snap hook with my irons or I'm not going to want to play anymore. It's not fun right now. I've never hit my driver better but I can't score to save my life.

just get on the course - so much going on and early sunsets make it difficult.

Improving my impact position. I’ve got the bad habit of flipping my hands at impact to square the club. Been brutal trying to do it properly beyond punch shots

I hit that point about a year ago. It turns out, I was too far from the ball on iron shots. Also, I was snatching my hands back quick and coming over the top. I got closer too the ball and kept the take away low and slow. It’s made a huge difference.

I'll try that coach. I stepped closer to the ball during my last round but my mind was so not right I couldn't do anything.

1.Truly developing a preshot routine and being in the present to give my best effort on every shot.

2. Enjoying the round regardless of results.

3. Controlling my temper and using more gentlemanly language on the course.

4. Playing 10 and 18 then chipping and pitching with a friend until even the ambient light from the tennis court is not enough to see the golf ball.

I'd like to make sure that I hit the range/putting green/chipping green for at least 2 hours a week.

I would like to really dial down on my yardages. I have way too much room for error when picking clubs.

I'd love to nail down my yardages after I get my swing somewhere decent. I'm really wanting to go try out that indoor golf place in Metarie and maybe try to play a few extra rounds that way. At least it may be a fun practice.
